When it came to saying “I do,” Owen and Rachel knew the perfect spot for their wedding to take place – the 1850s-built farmhouse that Owen and his family had carefully restored in rural Virginia.  It was the only setting they could imagine for their vintage, botanically-inspired, backyard wedding.  Rachel and Owen are both architects, and they couldn’t resist approaching their wedding as the ultimate project.  Every detail was designed and undertaken by the couple and their family – from the graphics and stationary to building the brick terrace where they had their first dance.  They planted and grew the garden that served as the backdrop for their wedding and the source of flowers for their arrangements.

Congratulations to the beautiful couple and thanks for being one of #ourlovelies!
