I visited Lovely Bride when I was on vacation in Charleston and had the BEST experience with Emma. She was so kind, knowledgeable, and fun to work with. Emma went above and beyond to help me in thinking outside the box for which dresses we could potentially order in my timeframe. I ended up shopping around at other bridal stores and those experiences couldn’t even compare to my experience with Emma- she’s the best!
A warm, welcoming, and intimate atmosphere. I appreciated the one on one time with Emma – who helped me into each and every dress, checked on me throughout the process, and meshed with my group of friends that were with me as if we’d gone to school together. She made me feel so confident in going with my heart on the dress I picked, that was a little out of my normal comfort zone. She picked out the perfect veil to go with my dress, on the first try – and I couldn’t be happier with my dress and veil. I would recommend anyone looking for their special dress to look here first. I only went to one other place before deciding to come back to Lovely Bride for *the one*. They had a plethora of options in house to try that were clean and in perfect condition. Ask for Emma for your appointment. The dress selections, vibes, and everything all around were amazing.

I had a wonderful experience with Lovely Charleston! The moment we arrived my stylist Nicole was so welcoming and made it feel like a special day! They have a great selection of gowns, all beautiful!!Nicole was very knowledgeable and knew what gowns to pull based on what I was liking and not liking. I had the best experience at Lovely! Nicole was so sweet and helpful and made dress shopping very fun and stress-free! She had wonderful ideas and helped me find “the one” on just our third dress. The boutique is very pretty inside with lots of bright, natural light and spaces to try on and really get the full experience. This is the place if you’re looking for an elevated and personalized experience. I went to a few other places in the area and none held a candle to Lovely. Nicole greeted us with champagne and let us settle into their stunning try on area. The doors were then locked behind us. You and your group get their full attention.Nicole had all the dresses from my lookbook pulled and was well-versed in my style from taking a look at my pinterest boards that I added the link to in my forms. After trying on some of my lookbook pics Nicole offered to style me in a few dresses and of course .. she quickly found the one! It was not even on my radar.I was very nervous for the experience and Nicole made me feel at ease – I felt like I could easily talk to her and everything she said was super genuine. There was no pushy selling, no asking of where exactly I had been, or things like that. This is ultimately what led me back to Lovely to purchase my dress. I knew that my dress and requests would be treated with care and precision. I feel that I can rest easy – because I know they know what they are doing.

I have been to 7 different bridal shops between Charleston, Chicago and Philly and this one is by far the best. The facility is immaculately clean and STUNNING inside. It truly gives the vibes every bride hopes for when she goes through this special experience. But that’s honestly not even the best part. The service I received at my first a second appointment could not have been better. Nicole was sweet, warm, knowledgeable, professional and not the slightest bit pushy. She made me feel so comfortable and was understanding, if not encouraging, of me wanting to go home and think about the dresses before committing to anything. I haven’t decided on a dress yet but I would truly love to support this business. The dresses I tried on here honestly have more meaning now because they’re attached to such wonderful experiences. If you’re a bride in Charleston you MUST go to this place. I wish every bride could get this type of experience!Worth noting they offer champagne:)

I had an amazing experience wedding dress shopping at Lovely Bride! My stylist, Mariah, was fantastic. She answered all my questions, made me feel very comfortable and even helped give me different ideas on ways to alter the dress once I get it back. She also was very accommodating to my mom and friend who came with me, as well as my friends and family who were joining the appointment virtually. I can’t say enough amazing things about my Lovely Bride Charleston experience. I worked with Nicole in November 2023 and she blew me away – she listened to my vision and style and, though she pulled dresses on my wish list, she also pulled amazing dresses I hadn’t even considered. I didn’t feel any pressure to say yes, but I did anyways as I found a dress that just couldn’t be beat! (Seriously, the curtains in our bridal room opened and my mother just said “wow.’). Also great is that, though I bought in Charleston, I live in Illinois – Lovely has made the shipping process so streamlined.Thank you again, Nicole and Lovely Bride!

O.M.G BEST EXPERIENCE EVER! I drove almost 2 hours to come to this bridal shop because they had a designer I love as well as the fact that my venue isn’t too far away from them. As soon as I got there I felt so welcomed and was greeted with champagne! I thought I had already found the dress of my dreams until I got here and fell in love with 2 different ones! After much well needed advise and assisting from the staff I made the choice and couldn’t be happier! I highly recommend this adorable store to any future bride! I included some pictures but not of the dress I picked (just incase haha)!
Had an incredible experience at Lovely last weekend and found my DREAM dress. I went in with 0 expectations of finding my wedding dress. Nicole was so wonderful – she picked styles based on exactly what I had shown / told her I was interested in and was super patient. She was able to take what I did and didn’t like about each dress and steer me in the right direction. The appointment felt private, special and everything I could have hoped for. She helped me choose my perfect gown and stay confident even though dress shopping is not as easy and magical as Say Yes To The Dress makes us all think. I had two friends in NYC recommend Lovely, so I made an appointment for my trip to Charleston! I brought my mom and we had our appointment with Nicole. I’m a decisive person, but still wasn’t sure if I’d find a dress right away. I felt comfortable to be myself and to be direct with Nicole. She was very prepared, engaging and even-keeled. She never pressured me to try on anything that didn’t appeal to me, and she gave great feedback/perspective as needed. Nicole respected my budget and communicated very well about price as we maneuvered through the appointment. We were very efficient, but I never felt rushed.The shop was clean and organized with great light! I was very torn between two dresses, and Nicole suggested carrying on with our day and calling her if I wanted to come back and try on the two dresses. We had lunch and I knew which dress I wanted to try on again, so she fit us in that afternoon & I bought my dress! Immediately cancelled two appointments I had that weekend elsewhere.I felt comfortable in my body, with my decisions and with my budget at Lovely with Nicole — I had a lot of fun with my mom & Nicole on top of all of it!! I HIGHLY recommend making an appointment here.
Had such a calm, comfortable and pleasant experience at Lovely! I worked with Nicole and she was amazing. I ended up finding my dress and Nicole even brought a dress back from the Atlanta store for me to try on a week later and confirm. Lovely Bride was great to work with from the second I reached out! I fell in love with a discontinued dress and checked with all the shops throughout the US that carried the Rue De Seine dress to see if they had a sample still, and low and behold, Lovely Bride of Charleston did! Nicole was so great throughout the process, sending me pictures and videos, and working with me to get the dress within my budget. After payment the dress was shipped and received packaged lovely with a personalized name touch, all within a few days! They helped me to find dream dress and I will forever be grateful! Where do I even begin. I traveled from NY to the Charleston location for a specific gown, but also bc I had heard great things about the shop. I was completely blown away. Nicole made us feel like VIPs. She never once made me feel like I was at an appointment or on a time constraint. It felt so natural and she was beyond welcoming. This is a huge decision and Nicole did everything she could to put me at ease and never pressured me into making a decision. This was way more than a dress fitting. It became one of the most memorable parts of my wedding process. If you live out of state, I would recommend taking the trip to the Charleston shop. You will NOT be disappointed.
I had two appointments at Lovely Bride before saying YES TO THE DRESS! After my first appointment I canceled with my other bridal appointments because I had such a great experience at Lovely! Nicole was my stylist and she was fantastic!! She made me feel so comfortable and after telling her what I was looking for she pointed me in the right direction. Overall it was a great experience. I had so much fun and felt confident after walking out of my appointment. Becoming a Lovely Bride is something I will never regret!!!
