My experience at Lovely Bride truly lived up to the name! Allie helped me find my dream dress, and was so patient with me when I tried on a million more just to be sure. She styled me with the perfect veil to match, and made this step of wedding planning feel so effortless. Lovely has an amazing selection of classic and eclectic gowns, and I felt like I had so many options to choose from that were less traditional and more out of the ordinary. I wanted to take a moment to recognize Rosie for the incredible experience she gave me at Lovely Bride. After a few visits, I finally found my wedding dress, and I truly don’t think the journey would have been the same without her.
From the very beginning, Rosie was patient, encouraging, and so genuine. 10/10 recommend Haley at Lovely Bride. She was an incredible bridal stylist and really listened to what I was wanting and was open to letting me try on all the styles I was interested in. She made this experience so amazing and made me feel so comfortable while trying on dresses. I also really appreciated that she did not make me feel pressured to say yes to the dress at the end of the appointment even though I DID SAY YES!!! Would recommend her every time!

I recently shopped here about 3 weeks ago and after having my phone consult with Darrien I was so excited. Lovely bride has so many options and it is a wonderful shop. It is very bright and lively and beautiful! Darrien took in everything I said and brought my vision to life! She let me try on anything and everything. The dress I ended up leaving with is stunning and my dream but in no way what I thought I would get. Darrien worked her magic to make it happen. I sat on the dress for a few weeks and said yes yesterday! Darrien is truly so supportive and the best to shop with! I cannot recommend lovely bride enough!!

I made a last minute appointment at Lovely Bride Charlotte and was greeted by the truly amazing, Darrien. Darrien took the time to listen, clearly explained the process and options for my approaching date, and was so calming to my nerves by addressing concerns and questions that I had. Darrien understood my vision and absolutely made my dream dress happen! Her excitement and passion for her work is evident and I appreciated her genuineness, transparency, and support in exploring, being curious, and creative with the try on process! She offered lots of options and allowed me to make the best decision for me. I walked in nervous and uncertain and after an effortless and incredibly fun time, I walked out with my dream dress. It was the first option she presented (yeah, she’s that good)! She was also super helpful in giving tips and tricks of the trade and made sure I had a confident plan moving forward for alterations and beyond. The shop is beautiful, bright, clean, and calming. I cannot recommend Darrien and Lovely Bride enough!

I went in today for my first ever dress shopping experience, first thing when we walked in the door we were greeted by smiling faces and made comfortable. Rosie was my stylist for the day and words can’t explain how thankful I am for all she did. She was kind, attentive, re-assuring and constantly checking in to make sure I was comfortable during the process. Not once did I feel uncomfortable as she kept light conversation going throughout the appointment making it an easy and personal experience. When I found the one we went out to the big mirror and tried everything on and she was there to hand tissues and champagne for me and my crew (mom&sister). She gave all information upfront making sure I was okay with styles before putting them in the room for me to try on as well as making sure we were staying in my price range. If you are looking for quality service, a personable staff, a safe space to make decisions judgement free and an all around beautiful vibey location, look no further Lovely bride is the perfect place. My family and I were so impressed with the beautiful selection they had and I am so excited for my big day because of this! Thank you Rosie for all your hardwork you made this experience unforgettable!

I had such a great experience at lovely! Haley was my stylist and made the whole process so fun and relaxed and she really listened to what I wanted and helped me find THE dress. When I came back to try my top 2 on again and eventually say yes, Allie was there to celebrate and was a huge help. Allie was also there for picking up my dress (which was ready early!) and the dress looked amazing and exactly as I remembered and I can’t wait to wear it!! Everyone was so kind and made the experience feel really special, easy and fun. Highly recommend this shop!

Darrien was an absolute DREAM of a stylist to work with on such a special day! This was my first time shopping for wedding dresses and it was the best experience at Lovely with her. She made me feel so special, beautiful, heard. Not only that, but she treated me like a friend more than a client by looking out for my best interest. She was consistently listening to my feedback, observing my reactions, hearing out feedback from my family, etc. If I could give her more than 5 stars, I would! Huge shout out to Allie for being such a genuine and helpful stylist! She made my experience very comfortable, she was professional, friendly, and not the least bit pressuring. I highly recommend this establishment for your dress search. I was also surprised with how quickly we were able to get me in and out of gowns! I tried on many, had a good idea of which direction I wanted to go, and was dressed and out the door in an hour.

I had the most amazing experience at Lovely Bride! They were professional, kind, and very accommodating! Jordan was the one who assisted me in my dress shopping and she was fabulous. I was looking for a dress that was classic, timeless and elegant and she pulled out all the stops to help me find my dream dress! She even made time for me the next day after my appointment so I could come in and do a follow-up when I was stuck between 2 amazing dresses and made me feel really happy about my decision! I also was able to find my dream veil there too! Overall, I had the best experience and would recommend this bridal boutique to anyone who is looking for some beautiful dress options and great service! The manager there was very kind and helpful as well. (Jordan, you are awesome! Give her a raise! Haha)

I had an incredible experience at Lovely Bridal! I worked with Darrien over the course of a couple appointments and she was absolutely amazing. She made the experience so fun and I immediately felt comfortable around her. All the staff at Lovely were so attentive, knowledgeable, and kind. I had tried to ship a dress to their store from another Lovely branch to try on when I was visiting family (I live in Wisconsin), and unfortunately due to a UPS issue the dress I had wanted to try on was delayed. However, all the women at Lovely were so helpful in resolving this! They gave my entire party complimentary bubbly and even said they would open on a day they are typically closed if I didn’t find a dress that day and wanted to come back in. Luckily I didn’t need to do that because my girl Darrien helped me find the one!!! She pulled such a great variety of dresses and asked me if I wanted to try one “a little bit out of the box” and that was the dress I said yes to!! She truly made me forget all about the dress I had come to the store thinking was the one. She was the absolute best I could’ve asked for and I’m so grateful for her and her expertise! She helped me at both of my Lovely appointments and felt like a close friend by the end of everything! Lovely is so lucky to have her as a part of their team! I couldn’t have asked for a better experience overall! Will 1000000/10 be recommending Lovely to all my girlfriends who are soon to be brides!!!

I worked with Darrien during what turned out to be a 5 month process of me narrowing down faves, procrastinating, having a billion questions and finally ‘SAYING YES’ to a dress! Darrien is amazing. She made me feel super comfortable in the dressing room as I decided to come back for a follow up alone without any bridal party. I had a beyond amazing experience at Lovely Bridal!! I legitimately thought Darrien was the owner of the store because of her knowledge, thoughtfulness, attention to detail, positivity, etc. I could tell she loved her job & was there for me, for how I felt & what I wanted in my dress & the entire wedding day. She made the experience fun & I immediately trusted her because she pulled dresses and made choices based on things I shared proving she had listened to me completely. She brought me dresses to try that were very aligned with what I had in mind and then politely asked me to take a chance on a dress she thought would look fabulous on me & was just a tad bit different. I did & it was the dress I said yes to, it was the dress I didn’t even know I could love that much – she couldn’t have been nicer to my entire group & I left feeling like we were friends now!!! The shop is so lucky to have her on their team, if she’s not in charge she should be & definitely a raise because she has made my wedding dress shopping experience a 10/10. I will encourage all my girlfriends to come here in the future if they want a dress & an amazing, thoughtful consultant to assist!! I might be the bride but Darrien is the queen 👸

This was the first shop I visited, and I fell in love with the very first dress I tried on. Allie was great – she had pulled a handful of dresses similar to what I had “liked” on the website, and they were ready for me to try on when I walked in the door. She encouraged me to look at different styles and to be honest with my feedback, and she was completely receptive. I went to one other store just to say that I “looked around,” but it was an easy decision to come back and buy that first dress. So happy with my decision!

I had the BEST experience with Darrien! After a full day of 3 different bridal stores.. who wouldn’t listen to what I wanted, showed me completely different style dresses than I told them, giving me all the dresses out of my budget just to make a bigger sale, & they had ZERO personality and made the appointments so awkward!!!
But my last appointment of the day was Lovely Bride with Darrien and after explaining my experiences at the other stores, she let me actually pick the dresses I wanted to try on to make sure she understood my style, then the first dress I tried on brought me to tears because I finally felt HEARD!! She truly gave me the experience I was looking for all day long and I said yes to the most gorgeous dress that was under my budget too!! It was meant to be!! Darrien! Darrien! Darrien! What an amazing person she is. I can be pretty reserved especially in regards to trying clothing on. It’s just not fun for me. Especially because I thought I knew exactly what I wanted. I am usually the type to want to try on what I picked in my look book and move on. However, as soon as Darrien brought us into our room and started asking questions about my vision for the dress and the vibes for my wedding I instantly relaxed. I honestly felt like I was shopping with a best friend. Darrien was so validating, inquisitive, and had an eye for what would look best on me. Not only did she connect with me on my wedding but also our collegiate career and lifestyles. Even my (typically) pretty shy mother felt comfortable around her. Haley Hart is the BEST stylist!!!! I visited Lovely with my mom and sister and we all had such a fun time wedding dress shopping. It was truly a memorable experience as Haley made me feel like a special bride the whole time and was super patient with my picky/indecisive personality. The store itself was beautiful (and smelled good) and the group dressing rooms were very spacious which I really appreciated. Disclaimer: I’ve only worked with Lovely Bride Charlotte through email because I’m literally across the country. BUT that being said… if I could give 10 stars I would!!! Allie!!!! The most incredible and helpful gal EVER!!! My train ripped and I was freaking out (at this point my wedding was in about 3 months) and I started contacting as many places that carried my designer as I could find. Allie from Lovely Bride Charlotte was the first to get back to me. She immediately jumped into action and was able to quickly order a replacement train for me in their next shipment from my designer, which was in just about a week. And when it arrived in their store she immediately shipped it to my house! The train arrived in perfect condition and now my dream dress is complete again! From start to finish it took less than a month and I couldn’t be more grateful!! Allie – thank you so much for your kindness, compassion & quick problem-solving skills. You’re AMAZING!

I requested an appointment online explaining how I was in desperate need of finding a dress off the rack because the dress I currently had no longer fit. Darianne ( I’m not sure if this is spelled correctly) called me the next day and made me feel SO comfortable about my upcoming appointment. When we got to the appointment, I had Emma as my stylist. She somehow picked dresses that were spot on with my personality and I feel like even from briefly knowing me really understood what I wanted. I found my dress that day. Just found my dress at Lovely Bride Charlotte with Darrien as my stylist! It was a very seamless process and my family loved it as well. It was welcoming, easy, and I felt that the attention was solely on me and helping me find the perfect dress which was great. I saw some reviews complaining about the $25 appointment fee, but this is standard across almost all local bridal stores I looked at, so please don’t let that deter you from coming here! Overall this was a great experience. Darrien made it super enjoyable and would highly recommend you asking to work for her if you can!

Allie was an AMAZING stylist and helped me find my dream dress!! I actually came in with my fiancé just to get a feel for the vibe of dress I was going for as I had not tried on dresses yet, and wanted to understand the process before my parents came into town to officially begin shopping. I was absolutely not expecting to walk away knowing I had found the one within the first few dresses I tried on! Allie was so knowledgable and welcoming when it came to their designers and the dress shopping process, and even though we did shop around just to make sure I wasn’t crazy for wanting to choose the second ever dress I tried on, the experience at Lovely was top-notch. None of the other stores made me feel the way Lovely Bride did and I can’t recommend Lovely enough! I ended up coming back two weeks later with my parents and was able to celebrate saying yes to the dress immediately after revisiting my favorites from the first time around. Best overall experience, best designers, and best staff!! You will find your dream dress at Lovely I promise!

HUGE SHOUT OUT to Darrien for helping me both times with my appointments; she was so knowledgeable and kind. It made the process less stressful and overall the best feeling. Had a great experience at Lovely Bride Charlotte and found my dream Sarah Seven dress! Darrien was fabulous and super helpful- She took my feedback and pulled amazing options, and also let me have fun with one or two wild cards. The store is incredibly clean, inviting, and relaxed. My group had a great time during my appointment. The online portal and look book is very helpful prior to the appointment but I loved that Darrien knew the store’s inventory enough to pull different dresses that I didn’t consider before. Highly recommend!

I had an amazing experience at Lovely Bride and I’m so thankful I found my dream dress there! My stylist, Allie, was so sweet and thoughtful throughout the process of me trying on different dresses and made me feel so special. The first dress I tried on ended being the one I chose but not till after I tried on more dresses at other places just to be sure. I found that nothing compared to that first dress or my experience at Lovely Bride. Allie was able to fit me in for a last minute follow up appointment so that I could try on the dress again before I said “yes!”. After 6 months since it was ordered, I just picked it up yesterday and fell even more in love with it. Thank you!!

I saw my dress online a few months ago and had a sneaky suspicion it was the “one.” I visited Lovely Charlotte this past weekend and discovered I was right. It was the one! My entire experience at Lovely Charlotte was incredible from the moment I entered the bridal shop until I left. I had to reschedule my appointment a few times and they were so accommodating. I visited Lovely Bride in Charlotte to meet the manager, Allie a couple years ago when I moved my wedding photography business here, so that I could recommend the shop to my brides. Ever since then, I have been dreaming about going here to find my own wedding dress! Having Allie as my stylist was an amazing experience – she was so incredibly welcoming and the best hype girl! let me just start off by saying this was the best experience ever! i couldn’t have asked for anything better! Allie is who helped us and she did an outstanding job. I tried on about 10-12 dresses and coming in i had one in mind but we saved it for last and i fell in love. After checking out multiple places to find my wedding dress, I was feeling extremely discouraged that I hadn’t had my moment where I truly felt I found “the one”. Every boutique that I had gone too did not have a ton of options for the kind of dress that I was going for. I drove and hour and a half to Lovely Bride in Charlotte not knowing what to expect. I am SO glad I did. It was organized, clean and all of the staff were so friendly. They had a wide variety of dresses and multiple options for each type of dress! Haley was my consultant and she was incredible. We sat together for a bit so she could get to know me and what I was looking for. The FIRST dress she pulled for me was my dress. I really appreciated that she was in no rush to send me out the door. She took time to pull dresses similar to what I was looking for to make sure I was certain and I tried out all of my options. I could feel that she genuinely loved her job because she made me feel so comfortable and great about myself during my appointment. After we tried everything on I finally put back on THE dress and just knew. In Haley words “If you’re not crying, keep trying” and cried I did. I highly recommend the Lovely Bride and if you are going to the Charlotte location on a Saturday and have Haley as your consultant, you are in excellent hands. Honestly whoever you have you are in great hands because like I said before, all of the staff there are so welcoming and friendly. You will not regret it!

Darrien was absolutely wonderful! I can be a little self conscious but she made me feel nothing but beautiful. I came in with dresses I was dead set on and left with something so much better. She was an amazing listener and really knew what gowns to put me in. I actually ended up buying the first wedding gown I’ve ever tried on. Mia at Lovely Bride Charlotte is the ABSOLUTE BEST. After describing the types of dress styles that I was interested in, Mia all but INSTANTLY hand pulled the dress of my dreams. A true blessing. Ever since I got engaged, I knew I wanted to go to Lovely Bride to shop. I drove 2.5 hours into Charlotte and was most definitely not disappointed. Haley was fantastic. She gained my trust from the moment we met her. She took the time to understand my style and vision. She was so detail oriented with each dress to ensure I knew exactly how it would look in my actual size. I ultimately said yes to a dress that was different than what I was expecting to get and I couldn’t be happier! I wouldn’t have found it without Haley’s guidance. I would recommend her to anyone!
