Meet Lovely Bride Charlotte Opening November 23

reannemoyer lovelybrideclt

Calling all North Carolina brides! Lovely Bride Charlotte is opening on November 23, 2019!

We can’t wait to bring the Lovely Bride vibe to Charlotte and give North Carolina brides the chance to shop exclusive-to-Lovely designers without having to hop on a plane or drive hours away to find! We’re so excited to add this new location to our incredible collective of Lovely Bride franchises. And while we may have spent a lot of time with the boss-babe and owner of Lovely Bride Charlotte, ReAnne Moyer, we wanted you to meet her too!

We sat down with ReAnne for a quick Q&A about what she’s most excited about and why she decided to open a Lovely Bride shop. Plus, she shared her wedding photo gallery with us from her August 2019 wedding (she’s one of #OurLovelies, too!)  Browse the stunning photos below and read on as she spills all the details on finding her dress at Lovely Bride Rochester.

Wondering what designers and dresses we’ll carry? The Charlotte location currently stocks these designers: Alexandra Grecco, Dear Heart, Emmy Mae, Louvienne, Lovers Society, Made with Love, Rue de Seine, Sarah Seven, Scout, Tara Lauren, Vagabond, and Watters.

What inspired you to open a Lovely Bride location?

My interest in the Lovely Bride brand started when my best friend of 20 years, Rachelle, became engaged and appointed me as her MOH. She lives in NYC and insisted that we shop for her wedding dress at Lovely Bride NYC because it was “the CUTEST place”. The obsession began there between the overall positive vibes, unique dresses and adorable store aesthetic. Of course, when it was my turn, I found my dress at Lovely as well.

Although that is how I became a “brand fan”, my now Husband is truly who inspired me to OPEN a Lovely Bride location. Since the day I met Rich, he has been an example of hard work paying off for a young entrepreneur. The biggest lesson he taught me is that yes, you can work hard for someone else and be successful. But if you’re willing work hard, take a few risks and truly believe in yourself, you will live both a successful and rewarding life. By seeing these ideas come to life for Rich, I felt like it was time to take a chance on something new in my own life. But at the time I didn’t know what that “something new” would be – until I stepped into Lovely Bride Rochester. The day I found my wedding dress and met the local owner, Katie, the conversation began around why the heck we didn’t have a location in Charlotte! The story goes on from there . . .

What do you love most about working in the Bridal Industry?

The gowns themselves – they are so unique, and I love how each gown brings out something special in every bride that wears it.

Your most inspiring moment as a Female Business Owner?

So far, the amazing amount of support I’ve received from other business owners locally. The excitement and sense of community surrounding my store opening has been overwhelming. I am truly grateful for that.

Favorite Dress(es) or Designer(s)?

I’m partial, but Wyatt by Lovers Society. Come on, I have to say my own wedding dress! Wyatt will always be my #1 heart stealer.

Other than that, I am SO excited to bring Rue De Seine exclusively to Charlotte for all the trendy boho chicks out there – sleeves, bold lace and fringe is coming for ya!

Favorite local wedding venue(s) + why?

Morning Glory Farm, where Rich & I got married. I would live there if they let me.

One wedding trend you or your brides are loving right now?

A dramatic veil (insert – Hailey Beiber). Beyond excited to bring Aleksa Karina’s newest collection, Wild Ride, to Charlotte for all the girls wanting a veil moment.

Tell us what makes your shop unique?

The charm! So many businesses these days are in new construction buildings. I love that my store has original exposed brick and beams which gives it a cool, industrial vibe that pairs nicely with our feminine design aspects. It’s quaint, but modern.

Local events or activities you or your team host or participate

Girl Tribe is definitely on my radar. They are one of my absolute FAVORITE female-owned and operated businesses in Charlotte. Their branding & messaging is right in line with Lovely, so I’m excited to potentially collaborate in the future.
