When + how did you get your start as a designer?
I was 25 when I was first married. We loved festivals and bohemian life in general so we were married outside wearing flower crowns (both of us)! The photographs of my wedding ended up online and I was approached by Molly Guy of Stone Fox to collaborate on a capsule. I loved it! The rest is history.
Where do you find design inspiration?
I am obsessed with the understated, effortless elegance of the 1930s – where glamorous Hollywood women lounged around in bias-cut silk dresses. That ease and nonchalance has always really inspired me. When I design, I am driven by the desire to make brides feel like the best version of themselves. I want them to feel empowered, sexy, and amazing.
What do you love most about the design process?

I love the happy accidents that happen in fittings when I am draping and something reveals itself to me. It's so tactile and real and it feels like magic. The digital world we live in doesn't lend itself to this natural design evolution very much, so I cherish these moments.
What's your best wedding dress shopping advice for our lovelies?
To truly trust your stylists. They see hundreds of brides all the time of all shapes and sizes and they will really be able to guide you. I would also always advise going to your first appointment on your own. It is a daunting process choosing a wedding gown and you don't need to be worrying about anyone else's opinion at that appointment. When you feel good in a gown, that's a really strong indicator that you are getting close!

What's one thing on your bucket list?
To go on a safari with my family, especially with my Mum, who just turned 80 and was raised in Africa.
