Ashley was amazing! I felt so understood and seen by her. I came in not having a strong idea of what I wanted, but by the end of the appointment she helped me nail down exactly what I wanted. I found my dress that day and couldn’t be happier! I went with the Katherine Tash Isolde silk gown (without the jacket). Felt like me and I felt totally at home in it. The best feeling! Hayes was an excellent stylist to work with! She was warm and friendly, very attentive to my preferences for dress styles and made me very comfortable throughout the entire appointment. She helped me take pictures of my try-ons since I went to this appointment solo, and went the extra mile to find me discounts and avoid unnecessary rush fees. Beyond the dresses I had requested to try on, she suggested several that suited my style and budget, and I walked away from my appointment with my wedding dress from her suggested pulls.
The manager, Sandra, was also very sweet and kind!

I had the most memorable experience at Lovely Bride NYC with Liza! Liza thoughtfully pulled dresses based on my preview selections, and the first dress I put on unexpectedly ended up being the dress I chose (Aimery by Rue de Seine). As someone who was nervous and not particularly excited to start my wedding dress search, I am so grateful to have had such an amazing experience. The dressing rooms were spacious and private, which made the appointment feel comfortable and relaxed. Liza was warm, attentive, and made the entire experience so much fun. My mom and I will always remember this day – would recommend Liza and Lovely Bride NYC to anyone!

I had an amazing experience at Lovely Bride NYC! The stylists I worked with were so kind, compassionate, and listened to what I was looking for. I went to 6 different bridal shops and Lovely Bride was my top experience! The atmosphere is so welcoming and they have a wide selection of dresses. On my wedding day, I felt so incredibly beautiful, and it is because my stylist helped pick the perfect dress that really encompassed my vision of elegance, timelessness, and romance. I can’t recommend Lovely Bride enough to any type of bride / wedding! I was drawn to Lovely Bride for its diverse selection of gowns and designers. After visiting a few boutiques in NYC, Lovely Bride immediately felt like the right fit. The process was seamless – my stylist reached out beforehand to understand my vision, and the online portal made it easy to browse and favorite dresses before my appointment.
In person, I tried on everything I wanted and more. The team was so supportiveand encouraging, and my stylist even pulled the dress I originally said no to (the Katherine Tash Rosalie), which ended up being my dress!! How did she know? I came back to say yes with my bridesmaids and again to pick it up and try on all sorts of veils. I ended up buying my veil here too. Truly such an easy, positive experience!

We had the best experience at Lovely Bridal in NYC working with Jas! The salon was well comfortable and well run with a nice selection of dresses available to try on. I appreciated the process of creating a ‘look book’ of dresses that I wanted to try on before we went in for the appointment, and Jas reached out to me a few days before to refine my choices. She was an absolutely fantastic stylist!! This was my first experience trying on wedding dresses, and she helped guide me, my mom and my sisters through the experience with efficiently, expertise and an eye for style and fit. She was cheerful, so fun to work with, and, though I didn’t have it in my look book, she pulled a dress that I never would’ve chosen for myself and encouraged me to try it on. Thank god she did because the moment I put in on I loved it!! We paired it with a beautiful veil, and she gave us time to think through the options, but we ultimately ended up buying the dress she’d pulled for me. It’s gorgeous and it made me feel confident, elegant and beautiful. We ended up buying the dress that day and canceled my other two appointments. Thank you SO much Jas for all of your help and your keen eye for bridal style. 10/10!

I can’t recommend consultant Jennelle enough! They (Jennelle) were SO kind, enthusiastic, patient, communicative, calm, responsive, knowledgeable – truly everything I could have asked for. They seemed to know exactly how much information to take and to give, so we felt heard but didn’t waste time with too much explaining on either end. And Lovely Bride had the best selection of colorful dresses of all the bridal stores I went to, which was essential. Overall, 10/10 would do again (next marriage? Just kidding!).

I cannot say enough amazing things about Jillian! From the moment I walked in, her infectious energy lit up the room and immediately made me feel at home. She was incredibly attentive, not just to me as the bride but also to everyone who came with me. This was my very first dress try-on experience, and Jillian raised the bar so high I can’t imagine anything topping it. She made what could have been an overwhelming process feel effortless, fun, and truly special. Tribeca was the perfect setting, and Jillian made it unforgettable!

I had such an incredible experience at Lovely Bride in NYC! The vibe inside the shop was so relaxed and fun – and the energy of the stylists was so joyful. Sarah was an amazing stylist and made my mom and I feel welcomed in the space and like we were the only people that mattered in the shop. Not to mention, as a curvier girl, they carry actual sample sizes that could be fit to me, not just smaller samples that have to be seriously adjusted to look “right.” The team at Lovely Bride made me feel special and beautiful for such an important moment in my life, I can’t recommend them more!

Truly had the most magical experience at Lovely Bride NYC. Jess, my stylist, was incredible!! I went into my appointment very nervous being a curvier bride (size 18), and not wanting to compromise on my dream wedding dress/ look. Jess looked at my Pinterest board before the appointment, and knew my vibe & style I wanted. She was so helpful, and thoughtful. Throughout the entire appointment I felt so elated and comfortable. I had my Momma, man of honor and bridesmaid with me and everyone had so much fun. She answered all of our questions, fit right in with our big personalities and helped bring my dream to life.
I honestly can’t express how wonderful the day was. Forever grateful for that experience and to Jess for helping me feel so beautiful and confident.

I had to BEST experience at Lovely Bride in NYC (Tribeca) – Jas was my stylist and I don’t think words can express enough how positive she made my overall experience! From the moment of my first appt, she made me feel comfortable and understood. She did not rush our appts and had an amazing eye for exactly what I was looking for. She encouraged me to try on suggestions of her own which ended up leading me to the dress! Her patience, eye for detail and genuine excitement throughout the process made the experience unforgettable. This was the third place I went to searching for my wedding dress. I have to say, it was honestly my favorite. My bridesmaids and I also went to Anne Barge and Jenny Yoo in NYC. We were treated really well at Lovely Bride and we even got Rose and water which was a nice touch. The consultant we worked with was very patient and calm. The sample dresses were in good condition. I ended up buying my wedding dress from this shop. I would recommend lovely bride to other brides! I had such a a great experience there.

I couldn’t be happier with my choice to go to Lovely Bride. The ambiance and decor are soft, inviting, and luxurious. The dresses are stunning. But best of all, the service and way they take care of you is unmatched. Ebony, my stylist, worked to understand me as a person and as a bride. Ebony my stylist was absolutely incredible, she helped me with every little detail, and picked out my dream dress! Had such an incredible experience trying on dresses and finding the perfect one at Lovely Bride! Jenelle was my stylist and she was amazing- she brought the energy but also knew when to ask the right questions and made me feel so comfortable on my first time trying on dresses. I cannot say enough good things about Lovely bride NYC, but more specifically, my stylist Ebony. At my first appointment, I had no idea what I wanted for my dress. Ebony was patient and kind and pulled different styles to help me learn what I liked. It truly felt like she was on my team and wanted me to have the language find the dress, even if it wasn’t at Lovely Bride! During my second appointment, I bought my young niece, and Ebony made sure she felt included, allowing her to play stylist for the appointment. Ebony is the ultimate hype woman, never made me feel pressure to make a decision, and suggested creative ways to add to the look and really pull it together. She’s the type of person that feels like an instant friend. Go to Lovely Bride and request Ebony, you will not regret it! Thanks for helping me find the dress of my dreams!!

I cannot say enough good things about my stylist Jess! She made my shopping experience feel super welcoming and easy, and we found my perfect dress with no pressure! She guided me perfectly through the custom sizing/ordering process to make sure I truly had the best fit before alterations.

I had the BEST experience at Lovely Bride New York! I walked in with a specific idea of what I wanted (and, of course, ended up choosing something completely different), but JILL made the entire process feel effortless. She made me feel so confident and beautiful.
The space itself is clean, aesthetically pleasing, and has amazing natural light — perfect for trying on dresses.
They have a great selection of gowns — enough variety to explore different styles without feeling overwhelmed.
The entire staff was so kind and attentive, and I truly felt taken care of from start to finish. I 10/10 recommend Lovely Bride, and if you go, ask for Jill! She’s incredible at what she does — detail-oriented, client-focused, and she makes you feel completely at ease throughout the experience.
P.S. I did end up buying/saying yes to the dress at Lovely Bride NY and couldn’t be more obsessed! 🙂

As a plus size bride located in NYC sometimes our options can be limited in store but at LovelyBride there was no lack of styles and sizes I could try on. My consultant Ebony went above and beyond to make my appointment special and memorable. She was knowledgeable, professional and so much fun, it felt like an instant connection which made the experience so incredible. And when I found my dress all of the stylists congratulated me and made me feel like I was the belle of the ball! I can’t speak highly enough of LovelyBride and the incredible customer service. I’m honored to be a LovelyBride and I’m obsessed with my dress. If you are in search of any type of dress at any size, LovelyBrideNYC is a must stop shop!

Lovely Bride was great to work with! They were able to accommodate my group of 5 which many salons were not. They had a massive stock of great dresses to choose from. The online portal made it easy for me to tell my stylist what I was looking for. Jas, my stylist, could not have been more friendly and supportive! I am so in love with Lovely Bride NYC. They are truly the BEST. The staff is so so nice, and truly make you feel special, celebrated, beautiful, all the things. I went to 10 (yes I know) bridal shops in total while trying to find my dress and NOTHING compared to Lovely Bride. They make you feel confident and at home. It took me 2 hours to get there from where I lived and I recommend them to everyone I know getting married. ITS WORTH THE TRAVEL.
I think my favorite part about my experience at Lovely was while I’m standing at the podium, wearing a dress, I’m asking my stylist questions about the dress and she’s not only texting the designer (House of Renhue – THE BEST DESIGNER EVER) but getting direct responses from the designer herself real time. It was such a unique experience that sold me and gave me the confidence in where I’d buy my gown. Once I said “yes to the dress”, the measurement process came next and it was incredibly thorough and customizable. So much so that when I received my dress, it fit like a GLOVE – all I needed was a hem.
I received my dress in 3 months (again, shout out to Renhue!!), and during that time communication with Lovely was wonderful. They sent reminders often of when to look for accessories, when to schedule alterations, what to do and what not to do with your dress. I truly felt supported by the Lovely team.
My wedding was 2 weeks ago now and I can truly say I’ve never felt better than I did that day thanks to Lovely Bride and House of Renhue.

Ebony is THE best! Not only did she help me find my dress but she was such a delight to spend that special time with. She was fantastic at understanding my style and bringing out dresses that expanded my vision. The dress I found was never something I would guess as my #1 choice but when I saw it I knew. She has such a great eye for style and really listens to and understands who she is working with. She also stayed within out budget which was very appreciated. My MOH, mom and I all adored her. Can’t recommend Ebony and our experience at Lovely Bride enough. The atmosphere is really beautiful and so much fun!

I had such an amazing time, and what made it even more special was my stylist, Ebony, she was truly the sweetest and felt more like a friend. I left feeling so excited about my journey to finding the dress. Even though I’m still on that path, I just had to say how incredible everyone there was. Had the best time ever at Lovely Bride! Despite being a very busy Saturday morning, I felt super seen and supported by our consultant, Ebony. She pulled my favorite dresses, while also making suggestions that matched my vision. She took time to get to know me. Last, but certainty not least, she squeezed me and my family back in on a Sunday afternoon to re try on my favorite dress, and ultimately say yes to the dress! I had the most amazing experience at Lovely Bride NYC!!! Ebony, Ebony, Ebony! I cannot speak any higher of my dress consultant. She made dress shopping feel so fun and easy going, while making sure to listen to what I wanted (even thought I wasn’t even sure about that!). She put me in dresses I didn’t even know I would fall in love with as well as the ones I already loved. When I wasn’t sure if I had found the one and wanted to check another shop, she told me not to feel any pressure and even let me come back again later in the day to make sure I had found THE ONE. Her expertise shined as she accessorized my dress with the prettiest neck scarf and veil pairing. She made me feel so special and beautiful, and hugged me when I started crying tears of joy when I found my wedding dress! Someone please make a dress and name it the Ebony after my angel of a dress consultant. Thank you so much for making my wedding dress shopping experience so memorable and special, I’ll cherish it for a lifetime!

I had an appointment at lovely bride in New York and was so impressed by the team who helped me—Ebony and Jas. I was squeezing in multiple appointments that day and had less than an hour for my visit. I told Ebony this ahead of time and I was truly blown away by her knowledge of the gowns and dedication to helping me try on as many as possible within the timeframe. I had the BEST experience at Lovely Bride.This was the second place I tried on dresses and I did not have a good first experience, so needless to say I was a bit nervous for this appointment. However, once I arrived and met my stylist Liv I felt so comfortable. She was so kind and receptive to both myself and my guests questions, comments, etc. She was to quick to answer all of my questions and anything she was unsure of she made sure to asks another stylist to ensure she was providing me with the most accurate information. I left my first appointment trying to decide between two dresses. A few days later I reached out to purchase one of the dresses, however, I still found myself being unable to commit. I explained how I felt to Jordan, another stylist I was speaking with, and I asked if I could come in to try them both on one more time. Jordan was so helpful and made time for me to come in later that day. Instead of only pulling out the two dresses I was deciding between she pulled out several more. I tried on one of the new dresses and immediately knew I found the one! I cannot explain how helpful and kind both of my stylists were. At my second appointment with Jordan I was completely alone and she made me feel so at ease I felt like I was with one of my girlfriends. If you are overwhelmed or nervous about trying on dresses go to Lovely Bride they will make it a truly unforgettable experience!

I had the best experience with Sarah at Lovely Bride NYC – in May 2023! (I am a tad bit late writing this review – but the day is still a chrystal clear memory)! I visited NYC with my mom to browse wedding dresses – this was my first appointment and I instantly felt welcomed upon arriving, the shop was beautiful and chic. The attendant I was paired with, Sarah, happened to be from the town where my wedding was to take place in Massachusetts – what a fateful coincidence! Sarah really listened to what I wanted, was super kind and cheerful, and made the process so much fun. When she thought I found ‘the one’ she invited me into the beautiful sun lit atrium to try it on with shoes and a veil and asked me if i could see myself marrying my fiance in the dress, to which i said ‘yes’ and the rest is history! I recommend Lovely Bride NYC to all of my friends and I cannot say enough good things about my experience – I will never forget it! THANK YOU from a May 2024 bride who is happily married 🙂

While I didn’t say yes to the dress at Lovely Bride, I had an EXCELLENT experience. And I couldn’t have found my dress without my appointment here. Jess was extraordinary, as was the store director, who encouraged me to keep my appointment after attending a Sip & See.
I came to my appointment with my Mom, Grandma, and sisters for my first ever gown appointment. Jess was so kind, attentive, and thoughtful with how she received my feedback. She really listened and heard what I had to say, guiding me to a dress that I absolutely loved! It was a little out of my price point, however, that gave me the essential direction to go from there.

A lovely experience at Lovely Bride! While I didn’t find my dress at Lovely Bride, I still had an amazing and fun experience here. It was a perfect place to explore different designers and silhouettes. My stylist really helped me find what I liked by trying on many different styles and fabrics. It was definitely full of other clients but we had a private quiet space and felt like we had the full attention of the stylist.

I had the most wonderful experience picking out my wedding gown at Lovely Bride! Ebony was INCREDIBLE. I could shower her with compliments but it would make this post too long. She was funny, quick to pick dresses, gave her opinion at all the right times, did not pressure me in the slightest, and was able to handle my 6 family and bridal party members. That’s not easy to do! I found the gown I was looking for and am so happy with it. Lovely Bride is so cute inside, clean, and comfortable. I would 100% recommend making an appointment here and requesting Ebony!

Living in NYC, I wanted a local shop that would make wedding dress shopping/alterations easier (wedding took place in Westchester in September 2023). And as part of a same-sex couple, Lovely Bride NYC was exactly the LGBTQ-friendly experience I was looking for! Upon initial appointment booking, I was contacted to fill out an initial form with basic questions about what I was looking for and to bookmark some dresses that I liked within my price range. Upon entering the bridal shop, everyone was nice and the space was beautiful. I worked with Jess throughout the entire process who was WONDERFUL! She helped me say YES to my dream dress – the Elliot by Made With Love – but with no pressure to buy day-of or to try on anything that I wasn’t interested in trying on. She was patient and so friendly, making the entire process stress-free and enjoyable. While the shop was limited in dresses that fit my price range (which I knew from prior research, and they are transparent about the price range of dresses that they carry), I am so happy I found the dress of my dreams! Jess helped with my measurements as well and assisted in picking a split size dress that would require as minimal alterations as possible upon arrival. While it was a little nerve-racking that I was not able to check on the exact point my dress was in the process after ordering, the dress arrived within the estimated timeframe that Lovely provided me. Of note, while Lovely does not have an alterations department at the shop, they do have a couple of recommendations (I used Sinem at Sew in Love who was also wonderful and her pricing was in line with other alteration shops). Highly recommend to anyone looking for a bridal dress shop in NYC!

I absolutely loved my experience at Lovely Bride with stylist Ebony! She was truly the best and guided me through the process making it a fun and enjoyable experience. I had pre-selected dresses but Ebony brought out additional options that she thought I would like based on my feedback and I’m so glad she did! In the end I found my dress because of her! I had the best experience at Lovely Bride for my wedding in August 2024 because of my consultant JESS! I had previously gone to about 4 other appointments and had not yet had that feeling everyone talks about when they find their wedding outfit. As soon as I began my appointment at Lovely Bride New York City, Jess made my crew and I feel so at home. She was so inclusive and took the time to understand what was important to me and what my previous experience had been. She made sure to take into account all the information I had provided prior to the appointment to be fully prepared with some beautiful and different options for dresses once we arrived. In all the chaos of having multiple people there with me, Jess made me feel calm and made sure I focused on what felt right to me had great inputs on each dress. By the end when I said YES to the last dress I put on, Jess was emotional along with the rest of us, tearing up herself and it felt like a good friend I had brought with me. She made the process of buying my dress so much more exciting and her warmth was refreshing after having multiple appointments where the staff was not super friendly or side inclusive. I had some issues with the first tailor that was recommended to me and when I reached out to Lovely Bride, they immediately helped rectify the situation and put my mind at ease with not much time left before my wedding. They got me a new tailor (SEW IN LOVE) that fit me in right away to their busy schedule and they quickly turned things around, making sure to handle all communication, make sure I was able to transfer my dress from the old tailor to the new right away and that I got any refunds that were owed to me. Kelsey made it so that I was no longer stressed going into the last few weeks before my wedding. I would recommend Lovely Bride to anyone looking for a beautiful and unique outfit for your wedding!

Lovely Bride was my first appointment when I started my search for a wedding dress, and I had no idea what I wanted. Though I had browsed the internet casually, I loved lots of things, and wasn’t sure what direction I wanted to go for my dress. Jess was my consultant and she was absolutely amazing. She was so patient with me and she pulled lots of styles until I was able to narrow down what I wanted. I brought 3 women with me to my appointment and we had a little nook to ourselves, so it felt very private. It was a great experience, and Jess was incredible. I would 100% recommend Lovely Bride to other brides beginning their search!

From the moment I walked in, she made me feel so comfortable and supported throughout the entire process. She was incredibly patient and kind, accommodating me coming in three times as I went through my decision process. I had the most amazing first bridal appointment at Lovely Bride NYC! Jess was my stylist and she made me feel so at ease during the experience. She was able to see what I wanted and give fabulous options based on my feedback. I was so nervous going wedding dress shopping but I had the most fun experience there. The salon is beautiful and clean with lovely pink, white, and gold motifs throughout and the selection of gowns is impeccable. I highly recommend to any future bride because it was so worth the visit. 10/10!

I had an amazing experience at Lovely! The shop itself is absolutely beautiful—bright, elegant, and welcoming. Macy, my stylist, was the best. She was attentive, patient, and really listened to what I was looking for, offering thoughtful suggestions throughout the appointment. Even though the appointment was only 90 minutes, it was almost like shopping with a best friend. While I ultimately didn’t purchase my dress here, it was a VERY close competition partly because the experience here was so fantastic. I wanted to share how great this shop is and encourage other brides to check it out!

Best Wedding Dress Salon Experience in New York.
I went to 6 different salons throughout my shopping experience, Lovely Bride was by far the best experience. They give you access to all their dresses online in advance, with price transparency, to pre-select dresses to try on. The salon itself is beautiful and clean. All the sample dresses are true to their photos.
All the staff that I worked with were incredibly attentive and supportive. Very responsive over text. They even found me a sample closer to my size of one dress and made time for me at the end of their day to come in and try it on.
They also made me feel the least uncomfortable about nudity. When taking measurements they offered me a slip dress to wear and allowed me to choose if someone was in with me while I put dresses on. They really made me feel the most uncomfortable.

Lovely Bride was such a unique and fun experience. As someone who isn’t much of a shopper, trying on dresses for a full 1.5 hours felt a little daunting. Jennelle was my consultant and she made me feel comfortable and at ease from our first phone call! Her excitement and positive attitude really helped me find my inner bride. I had the best time at Lovely Bridal on Sunday, November 3, 2024. Jenelle was my consultant and an absolute gem. She totally understood my vision and made me feel amazing in every dress I tried on. Even though everything looked beautiful, I wasn’t getting that “this is the one” moment… until, with just ten minutes left in my appointment, Jenelle brought out one last dress. And wow, that was it! I found my wedding dress at Lovely Bride and it was a wonderful experience. My stylist was Jess and she was excellent. She made the experience so easy and comfortable. Jess was great at bringing me so many great options to try on- including some new styles that I hadn’t seen online but she thought I would like- one of which I ended up choosing. Lovely Bride’s inventory is so gorgeous but also unique. You can find something that doesn’t feel just like a typical wedding gown that everyone wears, but is still beautiful and affordable. I highly recommend Lovely Bride for finding your dream dress.

Lovely Bride NYC is the absolute best experience for wedding dress shopping. The store is beautiful and has unique elements, as well as a good flow of privacy trying on dresses for you & who you bring with you to then ability to see what your dress could look like in natural sunlight coming through an atrium style area. The quality and selection of dresses is unmatched. Also, my stylist Macy was amazing and managed the appointment so well, while prioritizing me and ultimately leading to me being able to say yes to the dress! I wish I could realize that experience & moment over again!

Although I did not purchase my dress at Lovely Bride, I could write a NOVEL on Macy my bridal stylist. From the moment she greeted my group, we knew we were in wonderful hands. I shared with her I wasn’t sure what styles/necklines/waists I liked, but had some qualities I knew I didn’t like… Macy blew us AWAY. Every single dress was so thoughtfully curated – she educated us on necklines and materials and different styling options, I have never met someone so knowledgeable on a subject! She challenged me to push myself a little out of my comfort zone and I loved every single dress. Not to mention she is the easiest person to get along with and makes you feel beautiful. Macy, if you ever read this – your professionalism was incredible and you made me feel so comfortable on what was (almost) the most stressful and anxious day. I had a great experience at Lovely Bride! Unlike other boutiques and dress shops that felt forced and a little fake, Lovely gave me the space to find my dress in a way that best suited me. I never felt pressured to purchase or give feedback because sometimes you know it’s not your dress but it’s hard to articulate exactly why. The associates are down to earth, friendly, and helpful, and the boutique has beautiful dresses that are refreshingly different from other stores! I struggled to find a “simple” dress at many other boutiques but Lovely had both my #1 and #2 choices!

I will be a Fall 2025 bride, and I was a little nervous for my first fitting. But my stylist, Jennelle, was so attentive and welcoming and had an amazing energy about them. I had the best experience working with Jess! First of all, the store is incredible. By far the prettiest and most welcoming of all of my bridal appointments. Jess took us to our own private space where I could get changed behind a curtain and my mom, sister, and mother in law could sit while waiting outside of the curtain. Jess already had all of the dresses I wanted to try on ready for me. Once you book the appointment they give you a personal portal to add your favorite dresses to so they could be prepared the day of. This was super convenient. Jess was so lovely to work with, she completely understood my vision and knew the selection well. We set up a second appointment because the dress I really wanted to try on was coming in later. I went back in to try it on, adored it and bought it! I couldn’t recommend Lovely Bride and Jess more. They made dress shopping a dream come true.

My first dress appointment was at Lovely Bride with Bedreaux, and he immediately put me at ease. He had such a wonderfully kind and calm presence, and he was very patient as I debated between dresses. Because this was my first appointment, I didn’t totally know what I wanted yet, but Bedreaux managed to take what I said and ran with it in the perfect way. They knew my style even better than I did! The space is also wonderful–nice and intimate, with a jaw-dropping “atrium” to walk around in and see yourself in natural light for your favorite dresses. I’d definitely recommend booking an appointment with Bedreaux!

Jennelle at Lovely Bride was an absolute dream!! She made our day so fun, easy, comfortable, and she helped me find THE dress! I had such a wonderful experience at Lovely Bride NYC, thanks to the amazing Director (who stepped in since my original associate was sick), Kelsey. My friend and I didn’t necessarily look like the typical bridal party looking for a gown— so we were mildly concerned we may not be taken seriously. But Kelsey truly listened to me and made me feel seen. The second dress she suggested was the one I ended up buying— even though we originally planned to go to at least 3 other bridal boutiques. She wasn’t pushy at all but ensured I made an informed choice, addressing all my concerns and offering various solutions for my consideration. Kelsey’s warmth and kindness made the entire process so easy and enjoyable. I felt comfortable purchasing my dress after my first appointment because Kelsey set the bar so high and I didn’t want to risk disappointment elsewhere— she is the best!
Also, I love how responsive they are via text— ahead of my appointment, they reached out with some questions to help prepare some dresses to pull. And they also followed up via text after my initial appointment to answer any questions. It was refreshing to have such ease of communication and really felt like chatting a very helpful friend.

Such a positive and wonderful space that gives you options or viewing the dress in natural and glowy artificial light – I learned the hard way that not all places do this! I had such an experience at Lovely Bride and Macy was EVERYTHING! We had so much fun and she made me feel so calm. We had to try on a dress that was way too large to be able to see how it fit and Macy was able to get me a loaner in a size that fit!!!!!!! I was able to come back in and try that dress on which was amazing. It was so hard to decide and I ultimately got a dress somewhere else but the experience was nothing like that I had with Macy. I felt like I could be open and honest with her and really felt supported through this process. 10/10 recommend going for the dresses but also for the consultants that work there!

Jess was very open to my ideas, super helpful with her suggestions, and I felt she picked gowns that were definitely “me.” She even found some gowns I loved and would not have expected to. I cannot possibly say enough kind words about Cortney at Lovely Bride! I am a person who loathes shopping and trying on clothes, and was filled with anxiety about going dress shopping. Cortney immediately made me feel so comfortable, took all the pressure off and made the appointment so much fun – which is never a word I would associate with a shopping experience. I had a very limited idea of what I might even want, and somehow Cortney managed to get inside my brain and pull the perfect dress for me – one I never would have even thought to pick out on my own! I went to a few other appointments afterwards, and my friends and I all agreed – no one came close to queen Cortney when it came to the energy, encouragement, and overall good vibes. I ended up coming back to revisit that dress she pulled for me (the first one I ever put on!) and the follow up appointment was just so special. She truly formed a relationship with me and my guests. We felt like we were hanging out with a dear friend who was just as excited as we were to see me find a dress I loved. I truly can’t imagine having a better experience with anyone else. Cortney is a freaking DREAM and you will be lucky if you can work with her as your stylist. 10/10 experience!! I went to Lovely Bride on Saturday, hoping to get a feel for what I wanted to wear for my wedding, but I left saying yes to the dress of my dreams! Jillian helped us and was knowledgeable about all the dresses and what fit me best. I had an amazing experience at Lovely Bride in Soho. My Bridal Consultant Bedreaux was INCREDIBLE. I am definitely more of an artistic and fashion-forward bridge, and he understood my look right away. Bedearux was very patient with me and never made me feel rushed or misunderstood. I felt I could always be honest about what I liked and didn’t like! I ended up going with a different designer at a different atelier, but really enjoyed my experience thanks to Bedreaux.

I wish I could give Lovely Bride – and specifically Jordan – 10 stars!
Shopping for a wedding dress can be overwhelming, but Jordan was incredibly sweet and made the process really fun. She was able to accommodate me changing my appointment to have my parents join me, and was great about wheelchair accommodations for my mother. She was incredibly tuned in to what I was looking for, and made me feel super confident about saying “yes” to my dress! As an indecisive person, I didn’t feel rushed and was able to try on a range of dresses — all of which were gorgeous. I especially appreciated that she noticed how happy I was in the dress I picked, even though it was significantly lower priced than the alternative I was considering, and I never felt any pressure to go with the more expensive option. The selection of smaller designers is really great and they had a bunch of options I couldn’t have tried on elsewhere. I can’t wait to wear my dress and couldn’t have been happier with my experience at Lovely. Big thank you to Jordan! 🙂

Could not have asked for a better experience with Ethan! I came in with some ideas on my dress but honestly wasn’t sure which way I’d end up. Ethan was SO supportive throughout the whole process and great at picking up what I was feeling and guiding me. The dress selection at Lovely was also great and felt like I was able to try on a wide spectrum.
I ended up going with another dress not at Lovely but I can’t wait to come with my friends and experience Ethan’s insight and energy again!

Lovely Bride ended up being my only stop for wedding dress shopping. I was helped by Jess who did a phenomenal job of listening to my likes and concerns. She made me feel comfortable, but also picked dresses I wouldn’t have necessarily imagined for myself and it surprised me how much I liked them! I never felt rushed even as I FaceTimed with friends who couldn’t be there in person.
They have a stunning room with incredible natural lighting where they take you if you really like a dress. Once we were in this room, without saying a word, Jess placed a stunning veil on my head based on what she overheard me describing to my friends. Everyone was immediately in tears 🥹
Needless to say, I canceled the rest of my appts and I said yes to my dress here!

This review is for the amazing Jordan! I had the pleasure of having her as my stylist during my appointment and she did a wonderful job listening to my needs and coming up with suggestions. Dress shopping was a bit anxiety producing for me but Jordan made me feel so welcome, comfortable and special. I listened to her direction and she ended up bringing some beautiful dresses that I never would have thought of – she’s a pro. Honestly, Jordan deserves a raise with how good she is at her job. I feel 100% comfortable recommending her as a stylist to any bride reading these reviews.

Lovely Bride was my first ever bridal appointment and I could not have asked for a better experience.
I was matched with Sarah who was truly the kindest, most attentive person I could have ever chosen to work with for a first timer! I was nervous about the experience so it was great to have someone put me at ease. She took all of my notes and also reached out beforehand for more information so when I got there, she knew exactly what to pull for me.
I loved that she truly listened to my feedback on every dress and I ended up narrowing it down to two amazing options. Sarah was upfront about pricing which I appreciated so much and never showed me things outside my budget. I would recommend anyone goes to see her.
My only critique is not at all related to Sarah. The lookbook website that you are supposed to review ahead of time needs some serious work! And they send you a ton of emails – some of which are duplicates. This made a weird first impression for me, but it was completely wiped from my mind after going in person.

I had such an amazing experience here! First with my stylist Sarah who was so sweet and knowledgeable about the store’s selection. She also had my wishlist open and knew exactly what I was looking for. I wasn’t quite ready to purchase at that time and I didn’t feel pressured at all – unlike at other places where they hard sell you at the end. I needed a second appointment and when I came in again I saw Mckenah who was also so nice and super knowledgeable. She was very patient while I made my final decision and when I did, she explained every step of the ordering process. I couldn’t recommend this place enough! 10/10!

I had the best experience coming to Lovely Bride. My bridal consultant was Janelle, who was communicative, a great listener and made me and my family feel super welcomed. Prior to my appointment she communicated with me via text to identify my top 3 dresses I wanted to start with. She asked great questions to understand how a felt about each style I tried on. I ended up falling in love with my wild card that I tried on. She was not pushy to tell me that it was the one based on my reaction, but allowed me to navigate it myself my asking great questions. She knew I had another appointment later in the day and did not make me feel bad about that or like I had to make a decision on the spot. All of my selections were in the portal later that day with pricing. I eventually made a purchase appointment 2 weeks later all communicating via text (super easy). This time I wanted to bring my Grandma who has limited mobility and would not be able to make it my wedding. I gave the salon a heads up and they put us in the room closest to the entrance so she would not have to walk much and even offered to take out their ramp in front of the store to accommodate the three steps they have to enter. In the end I said yes to my dress and had the most welcoming experience with my closest people, which I will never forget. Lovely Bride holds a select amount of brands that feel a lot smaller and more niche than what you would find at a big wedding store. I LOVED that. It was the only store in NY that held the original dress I wanted to try on and the only store in NY to hold the brand I ended up purchasing, which I thought was pretty cool.

I had a fantastic experience at Lovely Bride, where I just got my dress! Courtney was an amazing consultant, and pulled exactly the type of dress I was looking for. When I lit up in the dress Courtney just knew it was the one to beat. I had other appointments for the rest of the weekend, and to be safe I kept most of them. But no other dress could beat my favorite, and even more than that, no other salon had as personalized or comfortable an experience – so both for the dress and the experience Lovely Bride couldn’t be beat.
After my first appointment I reached out to Cortney the next day to ask for a very last minute second appointment, and she was very accommodating. I was given multiple options for when to come in later that day! Courtney was able to run this second appointment too, and my family and I couldn’t have been happier with how everything turned out.

Jess Lyke was an absolute gem to work with. She was so fun and made me feel so comfortable the entire time. She took all of my ideas and helped me tailor them into the vision in my head. When we narrowed down to one dress, it came in two different fabrics and the silk material I was leaning towards wasn’t available for try on in store. She whipped up a makeshift dress by putting a silk skirt over me and clipped silk straps to the front of the gown neckline and i instantly saw what the dress would look like. She is a miracle worker! Also she was very patient with me during a mini meltdown I had which I very much appreciated 🙂 Feeling very lucky she was my stylist! Thank you!

I had an incredible experience at Lovely during my appointment in late January. I had pretty vague direction on what I was looking for, but my stylist, McKenah, was able to brilliantly take pieces from my feedback on each dress to put something together that checked all of the boxes. She asked me to trust her vision of pairing a more simple dress with a detailed overlay to create something entirely unique that felt custom and spoke to to all of the different things i wanted, and I’m so glad I did! I can’t wait for my dress to ship later this year and see it all come to life.
As a plus size bride, I was incredibly nervous about the process of finding my dream dress and I can’t believe how simple and seamless it ended up being. I also love that the salon is set up in a way that allows you to dress yourself for the most part behind a curtain before being clipped in by the stylist. I found it much more comfortable than other studios I’ve tried where I had to fully strip in front of the stylist. Thank you, Lovely, for making the most stressful part of wedding planning a breeze!

Had a lovely experience wedding dress shopping at Lovely Bride. I went to 3 places total but ended up getting my dress here. I worked with Jess who was so kind, patient, and has great calming energy. I highly recommend not just Lovely, but Jess specifically!
The experience was so relaxed, I had my mom and some friends with me, and they were able to take photos and ask questions which was really helpful. We were in a slightly secluded room off the main hallway which was a nice amount of privacy. And Jess walked us to an area with a lot of light to see the dress in full once I had narrowed it down to one.
I also got to make a followup appointment and try my chosen dress on again when it came down to two dresses and I wasn’t sure. I didn’t feel rushed or pressured at all which I appreciate.

Wow, what a great experience at Lovely Bride NYC! This was the third and last place I went shopping as I found my dress here. I worked with Cortney who was exactly what I needed. Helpful, positive, and not pushy whatsoever. Extremely transparent and mindful of budget. She paid careful and close attention to what I liked and didn’t like and made all the right suggestions. The shop is a beautiful space and I loved the private little areas where you try on dresses – adorable, comfortable and not over the top. Highly recommend!!!

Lovely Bride was TRULY lovely! I traveled from Boston to NYC for a specific dress, and they made my appointment and all that effort truly worthwhile. I’ve been to other boutiques where I felt like a sausage being stuffed into sizes too small, and it was such an awful experience emotionally, but EVERY SINGLE DRESS at Lovely either fit me or was too big! Their range of sample sizes is vast and they truly are body positive and size inclusive, which made the experience that much more special. My stylist Jordan was also just so nice, so positive, really listened to what I liked/didn’t like about every dress I tried on. It felt like she was truly excited for me and CARED about my experience!! I did indeed end up choosing the special dress I travelled just to see, and I’m so so so glad I did. 10/10 would recommend to everyone ☺️

(Review written after buying, I haven’t received dress- I can add that experience after it arrives.)
From booking the appointment to purchasing my dress, Lovely Bride was a wonderful experience. This was my third, and final stop in the search. Previously I went to amsale as well as Madison ave shops (for maybe a less traditional bridal gown, but opted for traditional as you’ll read below)
A friend who just got married suggested Lovely Bride for their customer service and the variety they have- a large variety but not overwhelming or chaotic like the klienfelds of the industry. Funny thing too- one of my two friends that came to the appointment with me actually got her dress at Lovely Bride 10 years prior!
Now the main reason I wanted to write a review was to recommend to any bride to work with JILLIAN! She reached out a week or so ahead of my appointment to ask questions in the most polite, compassionate way (it’s like she sensed I may be overwhelmed with the process even before i said i was!) she had a wonderful enthusiasm and listened to all the things I mentioned ahead. When I arrived she was so welcoming to me and my two friends and had the dresses I selected ready to go. She was a master at rigging the dress with the clips to make it look like what it would after alterations- so you have confidence in what you are buying.
She helped me very quickly find my dress (that will include some custom made shawl, but she rigged one with a veil, and quickly confirmed the designer could do it!)
About 3 weeks after buying it my mom came to town and Jillian set up a second visit so I could show my mom what I looked like in it, in person. It meant so much to my mom- and Jillian did this with a smile and ease.
I am sure that the other associates are wonderful- from my personal experience I loved working with Jillian, she’s a key reason why I bought there. And I know any friend who gets engaged I will suggest they go see Jillian at Lovely Bride!

A classic bridal shop. Superb experience with McKenah who brought me a few of the styles I “liked” on my online portal. Then added her own ideas. As we narrowed in, she brought me to the dress section to peruse and it was McKenah who suggested a dress + overskirt combo. It was clear she was listening to my feedback throughout our session because I had never thought of that but it fit my desire perfectly. Highly recommend any bride-to-be must visit Lovely!

I had the best experience at Lovely. Cortney was friendly, easy-going, and put me and my entire family at ease. She pulled the dresses I requested but also pulled a few unexpected ones that I loved. Lovely also accommodated a brief second appointment the day after my appointment, to do a final look before pulling the trigger. I am obsessed with my dress and feel super confident in the process because of Lovely’s amazing staff. Ebony was also fabulous and so helpful, as was Ethan. I saved visiting lovely till I had visited a few other shops just to be sure and I couldn’t have made a better choice. Jess was so helpful and completely understood what I was going for and wanted. My bridesmaids all agreed that she nailed every style she pulled compared to the stylists at other places we had gone.
She was super helpful, encouraging, thorough and made my experience so so special. I think she too knew when I had found the one and I’m so glad I found my dream dress at Lovely. I’m excited to say I’m a Lovely Bride 🤍

I had several appointments scheduled over a weekend to try and find my dress. I had never tried on wedding dresses before and was all over the place with my styles. Sarah texted me days before my appointment to learn more about my style and inspiration and things I wasn’t interested in. I had thought I found a dress at another salon the day before my appointment but decided to go to Lovely anyway because Sarah was so great via text beforehand and I’m SO glad I did! As soon as I met Sarah I knew she understood my vibe and I loved every dress she pulled for me. I ended up purchasing my dress from her and am so glad I kept my appointment. The entire experience at Lovely was…lovely! Even after I decided on my dress Ethan, was really helpful explaining my sizing options and reaching out to me afterward to confirm my decision. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

I had an amazing experience finding my dream dress at Lovely Bride!
Their preparation for the appointment is very thoughtful – you get a link to your own portal where you can browse their dresses and favorite the ones you want to try on at your appointment. My stylist, Ebony, reached out a week before the appointment to get a better understanding of what I was looking for.
Throughout the actual appointment, Ebony had the best energy and gave great support. She also gave me plenty of space and time to be alone with the friends I brought to the appointment. I never felt rushed or pressured.
The setup of the fitting areas is super comfy and private, unlike other shops I went to where everyone is showing off their dresses in the same big room. It almost felt like you were in your friend’s living room.
Every part of the process was thoughtful, transparent, and positive. I couldn’t recommend Lovely more!

I went to Lovely Bride for my first bridal appointment and had an amazing experience. The store itself is absolutely gorgeous and there was a beautiful selection of gowns. My stylist Ethan was awesome and so sweet; he listened to my preferences and pulled dresses based around my interests/budget while also making other suggestions that I really appreciated. My mom, sister, best friend, and I had so much fun with Ethan – I loved trying all sorts of styles and felt good throughout the process. Ultimately, I ended up walking away finding the one! Loved getting my dress at Lovely Bride NY. My stylist/associate was Jillian and she was amazing to work with. She was so genuine and sweet, she also made it to easy to set up my second appointment so quickly (so I was able to take advantage of the trunk sale for that designer) and she made my experience tailored to me and she was so willing to make sure I saw everything I wanted to and she even picked out dresses just based on the one’s I said I liked, one of which was actually the dress I ended up falling love with!! All the stars in the world for Lovely. When the dress I chose came in and didn’t fit due to my proportions and long torso and tailoring would not work, Leanne from Lovely worked with the designer to come up with a game plan to save my dress. They ended up having the designer make a brand new bodice that was a few cm longer and worked with a local tailor to put the new bodice on the original dress. All the while, Leanne was communicative and so understanding of the situation. Just 2 months later, and my dress was ready to be picked up, fitting perfectly. Lovely contractually was not obligated to help me, yet Leanne and the team wanted to make sure my dream dress worked. I am so happy with my purchase and would recommend Lovely to any bride. Thank you so much Leanne — you are the best!!!!

I had known that Lovely Bride was THE place you want to go for the best wedding dress experience as I accompanied a friend when she went shopping and so I knew I had to book when it was my turn. Jess was so attentive, listened to all my wants and ended up helping me find my dream dress even though I was nervous about not finding something right away. I can’t say enough good things about our experience at Lovely Bride! I came in with the intention of looking at dresses by Alexandra Grecco. Jordan and McKenna were instrumental in guiding me through the process! Starting off with little knowledge on wedding dresses, it was invaluable to have their feedback and support. Jordan helped my mom and I start the process at our first appointment and ultimately helped me pick out “the dress” in the following weeks. We really appreciate her patience, kindness, and constructive expertise throughout our whole experience! Overall Lovely Bride made finding a wedding dress comfortable and fun!

An overall wonderful experience – my stylist Mckenah made me feel comfortable and confident while trying on as many styles as I needed to. They let us stay after and drink champagne in the lobby to celebrate finding the dress and every single staff member was kind and attentive towards me and my entire party. I had such a nice experience at Lovely Bride! Their variety of dresses that they have are fantastic and their consultants truly listen to what the bride is looking for! This is definitely true for the experience I had with Jordan. Jordan was beyond nice, a great listener and showed me so many gorgeous dresses! She made the appointment feel so fun and made me feel special and important. I ultimately didn’t find my dress there, but their were so many that were gorgeous and I felt beautiful in. Jordan is the ultimate hype girl and anyone would be so lucky to get her as a consultant!

HIGHLY recommend everyone to make this their first stop when looking for their wedding dress. I worked with Jess and she was an absolute GEM of a human. She made the process enjoyable- totally “got” me and my style and pulled the most amazing dresses. I said yes to the 3rd dress she pulled for me and cancelled all my other appointments for the day.
The experience was so relaxed, I had my mom and sister with me, they were allowed to take photos and ask questions- we were in a slightly secluded room off the main hallway (all of the rooms are) and so it was the perfect amount of privacy. I could not have imagined the process could be so enjoyable and easy – it felt like shopping with a friend but was very special. I wasn’t rushed or pressured to make any decisions and got to try my chosen dress on several times to make sure.
Jess gave amazing advice, wonderful perspective and truly made the experience so memorable- thank you Jess!!! And thank you Lovely Bride! Everyone we encountered there was so lovely 🙂

I had a wonderful experience at Lovely Bride. We were running late because a previous appointment uptown was way behind, but we called as we rushed downtown and they accommodated us with as much time as they could, with zero issues.
Janelle was SO wonderful. She brought some wonderful options, and while I didn’t find my dress at this shop, the experience and the warmth I felt during the whole process was 10/10. Highly recommend coming here if you’re looking in NYC!

I can’t say enough wonderful things about Sarah! From the moment I met her, I knew I was going to walk away with my wedding dress that day. She had clearly taken the time to read my preferences and was so mindful of my budget. She was patient, kind, and so personable.
Sarah clearly had a depth of knowledge about all the dresses in the shop and I never once felt rushed or pressured to make a decision. It honestly felt like I was dress shopping with one of my best friends! 10/10 experience at Lovely Bride and a 15/10 experience working with Sarah!

Don’t walk, RUN to Lovely Bride NYC. And when you get there (or call/email to set up an appointment) ask for Kelsey. She is the coolest, kindest, most FUN person to work with. She made this experience everything I wanted and more. She knew EXACTLY what I wanted and was able to take me from almost saying yes to a dress at Kleinfeld’s that I was uncertain about but exhausted by the process…to YES to my DREAM dress. I never felt more special or taken care of- she really made this process so enjoyable. She also helped me really take my time to ensure I was absolutely POSITIVE about what I was choosing. Lovely had SO many stunning dresses to choose from and SO. MUCH. customizability. I left with not 1 but 2 ! I really can’t recommend this place enough to a bride who really wants to feel seen, listened to, not pressured and feel beautiful and confident and SPECIAL.

My party and I had so much fun dress shopping at Lovely! The space was beautiful, the dress selection was on point, and our stylist Jillian was excellent. She absolutely nailed my style and pulled so many dresses I loved, while giving helpful feedback to help me pick my perfect wedding dress. She went out of our way to make our day so special! We went to another big name bridal shop in the area but it truly paled in comparison to our experience at Lovely Bride NYC.

Very accurately named, I have such a lovely experience shopping at Lovely Bride and ultimately surprised myself and found my dress here! My stylist, Jordan, couldn’t have been more delightful, helpful, or creative – I was looking for something unique and she consistently brought me interesting dresses and accessories to fit my vision. Even at the end of the appt – she never rushed me or my party as we shared an emotional moment and took pictures. Truly a wonderful time working with her!!
There were so many different styles and designers to choose from, ranging from lacy and classic to svelte and modern. Would highly recommend and will tell all my engaged friends to make this their first stop!

Had a wonderful experience finding *the* dress at Lovely Bride!! Heather was amazing to work with. I went into the appointment with a specific dress in mind; I had been thinking about it for months but when I tried it on, it didn’t feel quite right. She was able to pull some other options, and I ended up choosing a different gown by the same designer. She spent the time to really understand what I was looking for and pulled out the perfect dress for me! I ended up coming back to officially sign on for the dress at a different time, and she was very responsive and attentive during the whole process. After several friends and friends of friends told me they found their dress (on their first trip) to Lovely Bride I scheduled my appointment and they completely exceeded my expectations. I had the most amazing time with my stylist, Sarah. She is incredibly talented at what she does and it’s obvious that she has such a high emotional intelligence. I was not particularly looking forward to having to find a dress and she made the entire time so enjoyable. She understood exactly what I was looking for and went the extra mile to find a dress that had been discontinued by the designer. Could not recommend Lovely, and more specifically Sarah, enough.

I went to this appointment thinking I already found a dress at a different store, but didn’t want to cancel the appointment last minute. I ended up purchasing THE dress and it was beyond my imagination! My stylist Jordan was fantastic! She totally got the vibe I was going for and was also great in terms of being conscious of my budget. The space itself is also so cute and the whole experience really was exactly what I didn’t know I wanted. I couldn’t recommend more!

Lovely Bride is a must-go! My consultant Sarah was absolutely amazing – she really took the time to understand me and what I was looking for, even before the appointment! She had great suggestions, and paid very close attention to the feedback from each dress. Their dress selection is vast and the dresses are absolutely gorgeous! The space is also incredible – you start off in your own room with the group you came with and your consultant. Once you narrow down your top options, they take you to the atrium which is a gorgeous, naturally lit space that really gives you the space and perfect lighting. Even though I ended up finding my dress elsewhere, I could not recommend Lovely Bride more!

Had such a fabulous, fun, and professional experience at Lovely Bride this past weekend. My stylist, Heather, was so composed and picked up on exactly what we needed at every moment. I loved the communication leading up to the appointment, and having access to the lookbook in advance as part of the styling experience was crucial. There’s no way I would have found the perfect dress in ONE HOUR without that process. The walk through the sunlit show room after I landed on my favorite dress totally sealed the deal. Genius. They really have it down to a science. Plus, parking was a breeze on Saturday and the girls at the front had great recommendations for celebratory cocktails. I can’t recommend Lovely Bride NYC enough.

W O W. Just finished saying YES! to the dress this past weekend at Lovely Bride. I think it was everything I could have imagined for my dress fitting. The vibe and colors of the place are amazing. My stylist 10/10, she gassed me up enough for the rest of the year! I cant remember her name but she had brownish, gingerish hair. She was amazing pulling dress that were right up my ally and from my look book. She was also amazing at finding the perfect in-between. I definitely was on a high from my appointment. The experience was truly amazing, I wish I could do it again.

Lovely Bride NYC saved the day when I found myself needing a new wedding dress 5 weeks before my wedding. They have quite a large selection and various designers, plus an amazing staff who gives detailed attention to each customer! I had thought maybe they would only have dresses that are more boho when my style is more classic and elegant but I was blown away with their selection.
My consultant, Jess, was absolutely amazing and so thoughtful. She really listened to what I liked and didn’t like and the vision of my wedding. When I came back to Lovely a few weeks before my wedding in crisis, she listened to me and calmed me and found the perfect sample dress for me to take home that day. She let me cry (twice!) and genuinely cared about making sure that I left there with my dream dress after having a catastrophe at another salon. I told everyone she was my fairy dress godmother, because how else can you describe it?!
I wore a Rime Arodaky dress that was so unique and I seriously fell in love with at first sight! Thank you Lovely Bride NYC for making me feel so beautiful on my wedding day.

I had my very first bridal appointment at Lovely Bride and it was truly a wonderful experience! Brian was my stylist and they were absolutely incredible to work with. Though I ended up finding my dress at a different shop, I highly recommend Lovely Bride – they have unique designers to choose from. Brian took the time to understand the look I was going for and made the best recommendations from there. Outside of this, it’s such a cute place!

After going to 4 bridal shops on Long Island, i had the best luck finding my dress at Lovely Bride NY. I said yes to my dress & the experience couldn’t have been better. Unlike the other bridal shops I went to before, they actually look at your Pinterest to see what styles you like, and you choose your favorites on their website before heading to your apt. My bridal stylist was so helpful, not at all pushy, and helped me find my dream dress. 10 out of 10 experience.
Plus, the aesthetic of the shop was so cute! That might not matter to some people, but it was just a nice added touch and it definitely matched my vibe. They had a huge atrium with natural lighting and huge mirrors so you could see your dress in natural lighting as well as in your try on area. Overall, I definitely recommend making your apt at Lovely Bride New York if you’re looking for your wedding dress!

I would give this place 100 stars if I could!! It was my first stop on my hunt for my bridal dress and I ended up saying yes at the end of my session. From the time we walked in until the time we left, everyone was so incredibly welcoming and kind – it made the whole experience so wonderful. Especially since I was super nervous! Devon was INCREDIBLE. The sweetest person I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with in a retail setting. She brought out dresses I showed interest in on the Lovely online portal, as well as a few she picked out for me. It felt like she was a part of my family as I tried each one on, and she was so insightful and positive. I will be recommending Lovely NYC to every bride to be I meet. Don’t look any further – make an appointment here!!

I wish I could give Lovely ten stars!!! I had no idea what I really wanted going in to my appointment and left with a dress that surpassed my wildest dreams. Yes, the dresses are STUNNING, but what made this such a memorable experience was how incredible it was to work with my stylist Jillian! (My mom must have hugged her at least 2-3 times before we left lol.) Jillian was such a dream: friendly, thoughtful, anticipating any needs, prioritizing my comfort throughout the whole appointment…I felt so incredibly well taken care of the entire time. She knew exactly which dresses to pull, and I ended up getting a dress that was completely outside of what I expected to choose and I couldn’t be happier. I also want to highlight that Lovely really does walk the walk when they say they are an inclusive space: it’s in the way every interaction made me feel safe, my level of comfort was always checked in on, and how Jillian made sure to accommodate my mom and godfather so they felt comfortable/had their needs met too. All the staff I interacted with were so kind!! Also, I do wanna reiterate that the dresses are outstanding and truly make you feel like a goddess. I did not know that was a feeling I could have in a dress?! I cannot recommend Lovely highly enough! THANK YOU LOVELY AND THANK YOU JILLIAN!!!!

I LOVED dress shopping at Lovely Bride and purchased a gorgeous dress here! I really liked how this store doesn’t overload you with a million options. We had Teresa as our consultant, and she got us closer and closer to a winner with every dress. She was so incredibly good at asking specific questions to find out what components of the dress were working and not working, and the dress I ultimately picked combined so many little elements that I loved. The process was easy and relaxed, not rushed, and felt very personalized and private. I would say that Lovely Bride will be most useful for you if you’ve had a few appointments already and sort of know your preferences, it is not an ideal place for trying on a ton of different options as a first pass. But once you’re ready to find the right one and make a decision, this store is perfect. The dress arrived right on time with what they estimated and was packaged neatly. I would highly recommend you try Lovely Bride for wedding dress shopping!!

I heard about lovely bride from a friend also a new bride. I found my dress on the first try but I went and tried a few other traditional bridal shops to make sure. No other bridal store compares to Lovely Bride boutique. The styles offered and the staff are unmatched. I had Sivan as my stylist both when I came in the first time and when I said yes to the dress. She was so kind and patient on both appointments and helped me find my DREAM DRESS! I am so happy I was able to have such a great experience and I highly recommend all future brides run don’t walk to Lovely Bride NYC!

Thank you Lovely for the extraordinary wedding dress shopping experience! My daughter knew of your business and was excited to try on dresses.
Fast forward almost one year later, my daughter received her dress and it was NOT the color of the sample she tried on. We immediately contacted Kelsey and the store owner and that started a wild goose chase of trying to get some help regarding what to do since the wedding is in the beginning of this October. We sent pics, a video and wrote back & forth many times which added more stress to my daughter, the beautiful bride to be in addition to the extra cost for alterations. This was not the experience we had hoped for. Suffice it to say, I do not recommend shopping here.
PS… Thankfully our alterations team are experts and are going out of their way to make the dress the way my daughter expected it to look.

The dresses here are beautiful and well made. I loved my shopping experience – we were able to take the suite downstairs and it felt so special to have a private space. Kelsey texted me 2 days before my appointment to discuss my wedding and what I was looking for. They also encourage you to make an account on their website and favorite up to 10 dresses. These seem like small gestures but they make the process so much more efficient. Kelsey was a thoughtful stylist and swapped out samples for larger sizes whenever possible to make me more comfortable. She really listened to what I wanted and was incredibly knowledgeable about their selection. I highly recommend this store for the service, the experience, the dresses, and the price point. Ask for Kelsey!

Shopping at Lovely Bride is a fabulous experience from end to end! My stylist Jillian made me feel so comfortable and truly took the time to listen to my style goals. Jillian’s attentiveness, dedication, and energetic personality made the whole process an amazing one. The salon is gorgeous, clean, & modern. Every member of the staff I encountered was friendly. Lovely was my first salon experience, and it did not disappoint! I’ve been a fan of the brand for a while, so I was excited for my chance to try on dresses here!
Heather was incredible from the start. She began communicating with me about my style preferences and the dresses I had pre selected to try on a couple days in advance. I had a second appointment lined up elsewhere on the same day, but left Lovely knowing I had already found my dress. Heather was more than accommodating and welcomed us back to Lovely before they closed for the evening to measure me and place my order.
It was a wonderful experience and I can’t recommend them and Heather enough!!

Jillian is AMAZING! She was so patient with me and I could tell she had taken a lot of time to look at my pinterest board and my Lovely look book before I arrived. The sunny atrium at Lovely is so beautiful! It made such a huge difference to see myself in the dress of my dream in gorgeous natural sunlight. It made me cry out of happiness. We had to change our wedding plans at the last minute and Jillian was again so patient waiting for me to sort out our new date/location before ordering the dress and I really appreciated that.

My experience was FABULOUS. This store was my 3rd wedding dress shopping experience, and I was exhausted. My experience was FABULOUS. Sivan, quickly brought my energy right back up asking about my wedding details, and really digging deep for the vision I wanted for my wedding dress. The dresses are absolutely stunning. Sivan was wonderful brining in both options that were exactly what I described and options that tested my comfort zone. Her patience, kindness, and great energy were extremely appreciated. Lovely was my fourth and final wedding dress shop I visited, and I so wish I had come here first. I had the most comfortable and pleasant experience here. Jillian and the entire staff was so kind from the moment we walked through the door, and accommodated us with everything we needed. The gown selection is beyond, the cleanliness of the rooms, the small curtain in the rooms for privacy for changing, I can go on. There is a super special atrium in the back for saying ‘yes’ to your dress and it is just out of this world. I purchased my Rime Arodaky gown here as well as my veil. Ever since I got engaged, I had my eye on Lovely Bride and I am SO glad I found my wedding dress here! They have the most beautiful designers from around the world. My dress was the Eames dress from Chosen by One Day and I felt absolutely radiant in it. From start to finish, it was so easy to communicate with the staff and they were available to address any questions I had about my dress, tailors, and the cleaning process.
