Bridal truly seemed like the perfect fit. After meeting with our Lovely founder, Lanie, I opened one of the first franchises of the collective in August 2013 in Philly. Jessica was amazing and made this the best bridal experience for me!
Booking the appointment was really easy online and when I had to change the appointment, I was able to send an email and got a prompt response from River. I really liked that I could preview all the dresses beforehand online since I had a clear idea of what I wanted.
During the actual appointment, Jessica was so sweet and an amazing stylist. I felt like everything she pulled for me was exactly what I had described throughout the appointment. She even showed me a gorgeous veil I wasn’t even considering because she knew it would look great with the dress I selected. I brought my parents with me and she was extremely accommodating to them but stayed on my side if there were differences in opinion. A real girl’s girl!!
During the payment process, everything was very clearly explained to me and I felt secure that I was in the hands of professionals.
I have been to a big box bridal store and a small independent one so I’ve seen both ends of the bridal shopping spectrum. I feel like Lovely Bride took elements from both sides and was able to make a truly accomodating experience. I cannot recommend Lovely Bride enough!

While my wedding isn’t until next year, I just purchased my dress from Lovely Bride Philly! Their process was seamless, from choosing my dresses online first in order to make the instore experience smoother, to quickly trying on all of the dresses- I loved every minute of it. I had waited until the last minute to order a veil for my early May wedding, as I just hadn’t found one I liked yet. However, once I did find the one, I placed a rush order with Lovely Bride to have the veil made and shipped from New Zealand. The entire process was SO easy, the communication was fast (even sending emails on days they were closed) and the veil arrived with time to spare. Top notch customer service!

I absolutely loved my experience at Lovely Bride!! While I did choose my dress from a different boutique in the end, Lovely is the boutique I had the most fun at and loved the selection of dresses. Jessica ROCKED!!! She had the dresses I liked best ready for me and was willing to wait for my mom who was a bit late. She made me feel comfortable and confident and allowed me to try on my favorite dress a couple of times, complete with a veil and bouquet! My whole crew had a great time here and loved hanging with Jessica for the appointment. 100/10 would recommend going to Lovely Bride!

I had the absolute best experience shopping here for my wedding dress. Wonderful selection of dresses that stand above the trends. I went to about 4 stores before this, and my experience here was 5x above the others. Jessica was extremely knowledgeable and kind, and played the perfect role in helping me find my dream dress! I couldn’t have done it without her expertise. I felt welcomed and understood, not like just another sale (how other shops personally made me feel). I cannot stress enough how wonderful Lovely is!!

River was incredible. With wedding planning, I feel there is so much decision fatigue, so she was great at narrowing down what style would work best with my body and my style. They have such a large selection of dresses. She did not rush us by any means, where I felt like that at other places. She helped me articulate the way I was feeling about certain dresses. You can tell she is well-experienced in this industry, and she is excellent at her job. I wish I went here first from the start!

I loved working with Lovely Bride for finding my dress. The portal (when used on a computer) is easy to use and its nice to see how much each dress was going to cost. My stylist, Rachel, was THE BEST!! She made me feel as ease and really listed to what I liked vs. what I didn’t like. She wasn’t pushy and I never felt pressure to choose a dress. She made me feel relaxed during my appointment. Everyone was great with communication when calling the store with questions. 10/10 experience.

I had 4 ladies join me to try on dresses, we had our own room and had some drinks to start. All of the dresses I wanted to try were set up, and Holly was excellent at making everyone comfortable and getting the dresses ready and pinned. I didn’t end up picking my dress here (SO CLOSE THOUGH) but we had a great time, and Holly was extraoridinary at her job.

I said yes to the dress! I had an appointment over the weekend and couldn’t have had a better experience! Rachel was so kind and made me feel so comfortable. This was the 4th salon I went to to try to find my wedding dress and this salon by far had my favorite dress selection, there were just so many unique and beautiful gowns. There was no pressure to make a decision which i really appreciated and the whole experience felt so genuine and happy and exciting!

Lovely bridal was my first wedding dress shopping stop and I ended up saying yes to the dress here! Holly quickly made me feel so comfortable and like she was truly listening to what I wanted and needed. The set up in the store is so nice with a private area for your guests to sit in and a curtain to separate the bride from them. This made it super easy to show my guests every dress whether I loved or hated it without having to walk through the entire store as some other places have it set up. I had a second appointment scheduled for the same day and did not feel any pressure to buy immediately. After my second appointment I called lovely to come back and retry my dress on and Ivy allowed me to come in last minute to ensure I felt comfortable officially saying yes to the dress! I also purchased my veil from the shop and can’t wait to receive both!! Thank you Holly and Ivy for an amazing experience!

I was pretty hesitant to go wedding dress shopping since most bridal stores require appointments. I had visited another shop before, but it wasn’t a great experience — I couldn’t pick which dresses I wanted to try on.
My experience at Lovely Bride Philly was the complete opposite! I reached out about a few dresses from their HALO Sale section and was able to book an appointment that same weekend — just three days later! They had what I felt other dress shops were lacking – romantic feeling dresses!
Jessica made the entire experience amazing. She immediately put me at ease, had all the dresses I was interested in ready to go, and didn’t mind at all when I changed my mind about one. She explained each dress, helped me in and out of them, and her talent for clipping and pinning to make them fit perfectly is truly impressive. She even pulled an extra gown that was similar to one I liked!
Both of my sisters-in-law commented on how great the visit was.

I had an amazing experience with River this weekend! We started with the dresses that I favorited and went from there. She chose maybe 10-12 other options for dresses to try on and I could see myself in every single one that she chose. I ultimately ended up choosing the first dress I tried on at that appointment, but she walked me through every dress without feeling rushed. You can tell that she felt genuine joy when I ultimately decided on my dress. I am so happy that I decided to go with Lovely Bride!

I had such a great experience at Lovely Bride. I made an appointment to go alone and communicated that I wouldn’t be making a final decision that day. River was not remotely pushy and did an amazing job at noticing what I liked and didn’t in the dresses I tried on. She took a ton of photos so I could share with my family and was super patient. She ended up pulling the dress/veil combo that I purchased (on my next appointment), which weren’t even on my radar. They have a gorgeous selection of dresses and accessories!

I went to several wedding dress boutiques, and this was by far THE BEST! I am very high maintenance and hard to please but the Lovely Bride team, specifically Rachel, went above and beyond to accommodate me and find me a style I loved!! As a recent lovely bride, I can say the experience here is second to none! Booking is easy, they are so accommodating, and they really take the time to hear your vision while also pushing you out of your comfort zone to find the one! I was lucky enough to try on dresses with River twice, once when I first got engaged and just wanted to get a quick feel for what I liked and again when I said yes! She was so great with helping me feel confident in my choice and being the perfect hype girl, as any stylist should be!! I highly recommend taking the time to head to your nearest lovely bride (or travel to Philly like I did bc it’s worth it!!) My experience at Lovely Bride was “lovely!” My stylist was Patience, and she was super sweet and helpful. I had something completely different in mind for my dress until I tried on MY dress that I wound up getting from lovely. I was so happy and surprised that I found my dress that was different than my original idea. Patience hyped me up, helped me with everything I needed, took my measurements and explained the dress buying process to me perfectly. I’m River at Lovely Bride’s biggest fan. She introduced me to my wedding dress and she was so patient and friendly to me and my entire party. The store/dressing room is a bit small, but I don’t think that’s a big issue ultimately. You still get the grand reveal behind the curtains!

I had such an incredible experience at Lovely Philadelphia. I will say, I made the appointment with the intention of trying on a specific dress. I was paired with stylist Mahdiya, who made the act of trying on dresses stress free and fun! She was a great listener and I felt comfortable immediately, it felt like I was chatting with a friend throughout my appointment. So much so, that I was more truthful about the dresses I tried on, compared to other appointments, which absolutely helped us whittle down to “the dress”. Mahdiya was so warm and welcoming; and as I had travelled from out of town, she gave some recommendations for lunch- she is an absolute gem!
I am so happy to have found my dress here and the time I had here was the most low-stakes stress free experience. I highly recommend Lovely Bride in Philadelphia.

From start to finish, my experience at Lovely Bride was smooth sailing. The folks there made every step of my dress shopping easy and as stress-free as possible. In particular, the stylist that I worked with (shout out to Mahdiya) was a dream, who absolutely radiated kindness and patience. Everyone I worked with kept the atmosphere really chill and non-judgmental which was exactly what I was looking for while wedding dress shopping. The dress I found was exactly what I wanted, arrived on time, and everything was communicated seamlessly the whole time. I will note that Lovely Bride does not have an in-house seamstress for dress alterations, but they recommend a lot of great tailors in the area. I would definitely recommend dress shopping here.

So incredibly thrilled with my experience at Lovely Bride Philly!! After visiting 4 other bridal shops, I thought I would have to settle for a dress I wasn’t excited about, but Lovely Bride had my dream dress AND found me a dream veil that I hadn’t even considered. Mahdiya made me so comfortable and made me feel glamorous – what a fabulous human being. The dress came exactly when they said it would, and fit me almost perfectly. Ivy went out of her way to make sure I was able to pick it up in a pinch and was so gracious. Truly can’t recommend this store enough – I was dreading dress shopping but this experience was flawless all the way through. A gem of a shop. Go here!!

Erin at Lovely Bride literally made my vision come to life!!! I wanted a mix of modern and vintage vibes and she came up with this — the Buttercup dress by Scout and the Lennox top by Louvienne. I had buttons added in tailoring at Irina Sigel in center city.

Miranda was so kind throughout the process and I felt very comfortable telling her what I liked and disliked about dresses. I went here twice because I wasn’t sure the first time and requested her to be my consultant when I returned . I worked with Mahdiya at Lovely Bride Philly. She was excellent! She pulled so many gorgeous gowns that actually fit my vision. That is something that I had not found at any previous bridal shops, previously I felt like the stylist was not listening to me. With Majdiya I felt like she actually understand what I wanted. She was also very kind, sweet, and supportive of my vision. She was great at describing what I was looking for, even when I couldn’t even explain it. I had my appointment at Lovely with Anna. She was very kind and super no pressure. She pulled the dresses that I picked online, brought in options that were similar to what I wanted, and some dresses outside of my comfort zone. The rooms are small and she was very attentive to help me with my dresses and fixing the trains while making room for my party to see me. I went back for one more appointment to try on my dress and it was the same experience with her. Very no pressure, helpful with visions, and with veil ideas.

Full disclaimer that I did not get my dress here, but wanted to share what a positive experience I had with Miranda over email. I learned my dream dress was being discontinued and was heartbroken. I feverishly began emailing stores to see if I could buy their samples and Miranda was a lifesaver. Not only did she offer to send me photos of their sample, but she did her own research for me and sent me other resale websites that had the dress and even made other designer and dress recommendations! Exceptional customer service! She was caring, supportive, and really made me feel special in a time where I was pretty emotional. If you shop here, ask for Miranda to help you out because she made me feel like the only bride in the world. Thank you for the support and kindness when I needed it most ❤️

Had the best experience here out of the bridal shops we went to. This place was recommended to me by multiple coworkers. The ambiance was great and they have a diverse array of gown designers to choose from. The requirement to choose a few dresses you like on their website Lookbook after you make your appointment was actually very helpful to make efficient use of your time so your stylist has a good starting point to pick dresses you are likely to want to try on. My stylist Miranda was lovely and the other staff all seem very invested in what they do. Their social media is also fun to follow and shows diverse women with different body types in their dresses. Miranda made my maid of honor feel comfortable and included in the process and was great at using the feedback of what I liked/didn’t like after trying each dress to find other dresses for me to try on. Miranda had a very thorough understanding of their inventory and made the entire process very enjoyable. The pickup process for the dress was easy too and it arrived in the time frame they said it would. Excited to wear my dress and highly recommend Lovely Bride and Miranda!

I had the best possible experience at Lovely Bride Philly! It was my first dress shopping experience and every part of it surpassed my expectations. The shop itself is beautiful, and I love that each bride gets their own private room for their party. Mahdiya was my stylist and it was clear that she did her homework on my preferences and was so helpful (LB does send an extensive questionnaire beforehand and gives you access to every dress in their inventory with transparent pricing). She pulled dresses that I absolutely loved and asked all the right clarifying questions to help me narrow down my options. Picking just one dress was the hardest part, there are SO MANY stunning and unique designs here. I wound up picking the very first dress I tried on and I couldn’t be more thrilled with the entire experience.

Such a great and no pressure environment. I expected to feel a little overwhelmed but couldn’t be further from the case! Found my dress here with the help of Miranda and she was fantastic and so easy to work with. Everyone was so kind and friendly. I had a beyond positive experience at Lovely Bride. I was in town visiting my sister and we went to the appointment together. Miranda helped us and was INCREDIBLE at her job and an awesome person all around. She pulled the dresses I had bookmarked, but her suggestions were the ones I loved the most! She has a great eye for individual styles and picking out things you will adore. There were two other appointments going on on that same time and everyone in the store seemed very happy and excited. Great energy. Go here, future brides!

My experience at Lovely Bride was simply wonderful! Starting off with the ease of the booking process and exploring the gorgeous dresses available in their bridal portal. It was so much fun picking out my favorite dresses. I could not wait for my appointment. The Lovely Bride studio was so adorable. I have to give a big shout out to my stylist, Miranda. Thank You so much for everything from our initial communication to your warm support in helping me find my perfect wedding dress. It was a very emotional moment when I Said Yes to the Dress. My experience at Lovely Bride was nothing short of magical! From making my initial appointment to saying yes to the dress, Lovely Bride made a rather daunting process so simple and exciting. The studio atmosphere is beyond adorable, but it was the attention to detail and support of the staff that truly made my time so incredible. From our first interaction my stylist, Erin, was so warm and so accommodating, and I knew immediately I was in great hands. Erin worked with me on so many different elements, it is because of her I found the dress of my dreams. Needless to say, I could not be more grateful for my experience here and would recommend this shop time and time again.

I was nervous and a little self-concious about the bridal gown shopping experience, but decided to try Lovely Bride based on their selection of gowns. Not only did I find an amazing selection, but I also had the best shopping experience! River was the BEST to work with! She exhibited such a high level of class and professionalism and turned my nerves into excitement and confidence without any pressure. Yay!! Miranda was amazing 🙂 Lovely Bride was the 3rd bridal boutique I had visited, and it was such a wonderful experience. After trying on around 10-15 dresses prior, I was starting to worry I wouldn’t like how a wedding dress looked on me. Not only did I find the perfect dress, but Miranda picked out multiple options that matched my style to try on. She kept me focused, and knew exactly what I was looking for. It was one of the easier decisions in wedding planning. They were very transparent throughout the entire process (from expected delivery time, to ordering the right dress size, etc.). I picked my dress up today and fell in love all over again. Thank you so much!!

Tried on dresses today and had SUCH a fun experience. Jessica, the store manager, helped me with my dresses and she was fabulous!!! She was so informative and had a great energy and helped me narrow down my options to 2 choices. I think I’m really close to saying yes to the dress thanks to the help I got at Lovely Bride!

I have been to Lovely Bride in Philly 3 times, twice to find the one, and once to buy the ONE, and each experience was just as great as the last! Everyone I worked with (shout out to Miranda!) was so kind, patient, very knowledgeable and made me feel beautiful with each dress I tried on. I would HIGHLY recommend a bride to go to this boutique if they are in their beginning stages of looking for a dress. The shop is decorated so stunningly and is very clean and bright. I can’t wait to go back to pick up my dress in June!

I made an appointment at Lovely Bride along with a few other bridal boutiques. This was by far the best experience I had dress shopping. They listened to what I wanted and the staff was very knowledgeable and helpful! I ended up buying my dress from Lovely Bride and was so happy with every step of the process!

I had a great experience shopping here. I ultimately found a dress at another studio, but I did want to leave a review about my experience. Lovely puts in a lot of up-front work when you make an appointment, including letting you favorite gowns available at the store and a style questionnaire.
At the appointment, you try on gowns in a private room with your stylist. My stylist, Mahdiya, was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. Throughout the appointment she pulled gowns based on my preferences. I do recommend Lovely if you are dress shopping in Philly.

I purchased my wedding dress here and loved my experience! I enjoyed being able to browse their selection online ahead of my appointment and pick out which dresses I wanted to try on so my stylist understood my style before I even arrived. I also appreciated how transparent they were with their prices rather than hiding them like so many shops. All of their dresses are unique and beautiful. My Made With Love dress came in exactly when they said it would, and their recommendation for alterations in Philly worked out great. Highly recommend Lovely Bride as your first stop because all other shops will pale in comparison!

The best experience!! I worked with Miranda. She was awesome. The dresses she pulled were on point with my style and she was super receptive to what I did and did not like. I found a dress I loved and they even let me back in without an appointment to try it on a second time a few hours later. Ivy helped me this time. She’s awesome too. I wound up buying the dress and I couldn’t be happier. Staff is amazing and dress selection is amazing. They really know how to make a girl feel good about herself. Thanks guys!!

This review is a bit unorthodox, as I hadn’t gone to Lovely Bride to purchase a wedding dress but to work together on a celebration that was taking place inside. The space design, attention to detail and warmth of this location is second to none. You very quickly understand the care and expertise Ivy puts into each element of the process. I have already recommended three of my friends to see her.

My vision: simple, classy, elegant, timeless. My dress is a dream. Everything I could ever wanted and exactly what I was looking for. I found the dress by researching a bunch of designers. Made with Love is an Australian based company who works with a some vendors in the United States. The Lovely Bride in Philadelphia, had the dress and once I put it on, I knew it was it the perfect one. Thank you to Taylor, Jessica, and Ivy at the Lovely Bride for working with me to make my wedding dress dreams come true. Additionally, Taylor helped me find the most perfect earrings to match the vibe. They are stunning.

I worked with a stylist at the beginning who made the experience much less stressful. At my second fitting when my dress arrived I was able to work with two more lovely ladies. I had a wonderful experience. And obviously they all helped me pick the best one for me!

I had such an incredible experience at Lovely! This was the very first bridal salon I visited and I loved every second of it. River was SO wonderful to work with. I really didn’t know what I was looking for when I walked in but she asked all the right questions and was extremely patient throughout the entire experience. I LOVED her energy and how she made the appointment super fun and stress-free from the second we met. I thought I’d have to stop by multiple boutiques to find the right dress but by the time my appointment ended at Lovely, I said yes to one of their dresses! So, so thankful for the experience both River and Lovely gave me – couldn’t recommend it more!

Jessica was a phenomenal stylist! I had previously worked at a bridal salon for two years and had tried on so many dresses. When it came time to try on dresses for my own wedding I wasn’t sure if I would have the same excitement as most brides having already tried on dresses. Jessica made the entire experience so wonderful and easy and made me feel like a bride! She had all my favorite dresses pulled for me ahead of time and also suggested some beautiful dresses. She listened to what I was looking for and pulled dresses that fit my style. There were also a few dresses I had requested to try on that were over my budget. She was mindful of my budget and made sure I was aware of the price before trying it on. When I picked my dress she was super helpful in explaining the different color options and was such as excited for me as my friends and family. Thank you Jessica for all your help! I can’t wait for my dress to come in!

I had an incredible experience at Lovely Bride, and it cannot be matched! After going to another bridal shop where I felt like I wasn’t the priority, but rather an inconvenience, I walked into Lovely nervous. Immediately, the staff welcomed me with open arms. Between the online portal, looking at me and getting to know me, and asking what I liked/disliked about every dress I tried on, they helped me find my match! Lovely Bride was such a wonderful experience! From start to finish everyone was so helpful and attentive through the process of looking for a dress. I ended up getting a dress at a different location but I needed to take a moment to say how incredible Hannah was. I had two appointments with her and each time she put in 110%. I am an awkward person and she was able to adapt to me and my personality to make me feel comfortable. Hannah is not only an amazing and kind person but she is fantastic at her job! I would ask for her if you go!

I can count on my hand the times in the past two years that I’ve worn a dress, but I decided I did want to wear one for my wedding. On my wedding day, I wanted to feel like a sorcerer from the future, an old-timey Hollywood starlet, or a powerful witch. My stylist Julie understood the assignment perfectly. She had a number of my selections available, and also suggested gowns that were within my vision. The result was a gown that I was absolutely in love with! This was the first place I tried on dresses to get an idea of what looks good and what style I really wanted. Thanks to Julie I walked away with a dress I absolutely love!! I had a wonderful experience finding my dress at Lovely! Julie was extremely helpful and easy going throughout the process. I didn’t ever feel rushed or pressured into anything. We were able to go through my selections and try on different veils and accessories to help me decide. I personally enjoyed the selection of dresses here because there are a variety of options which included more simple and classic looks which I was going for. Overall a great time and so happy to have my dress!

BEST experience & shop, I want to do it again! Hannah was my coordinator for my appointment and she could not have been any better! She had my 3 top picks lined up and I tried on maybe about 10 dresses total. I ended up selecting my 2nd dress. Hannah was so great with my mom, future MIL, and sister – she had no problem redirecting decisions to me, which I SO appreciated. I also didn’t feel any pressure to pay for the veil yet, she did write down the name/cost/designer of the one I liked in case I would like to order it down the line. I absolutely loved this shop and it’s easily located next to Penn’s Landing with lots of parking.

I had an incredible experience at Lovely. The shop is beautiful & comfortable with your own private room. The temperature is comfortable (been to others where I was sweating under the lights). Jessica Downing is the absolute best! I changed my mind on the looks I liked right before coming to the shop and she quickly adjusted and pulled so many things for me to try. I never felt rushed, felt I had tons of options, and knew I was in good hands by her knowledge of the dresses available and my vision. Ended up buying my dress here & could not be happier with the experience

My experience at Lovely Bride was nothing short of amazing. I was so nervous to try on dresses for the first time but Jessica immediately made me feel so comfortable. She is so easy to talk to, really listens to what you want & like, and works hard to fulfill all your needs rather than having the dresses as is. For example, I needed my plunge neckline to be taken in a bit and she was already on top of it talking about what we could do. I highly recommend her and this place to anyone that is in need of their dream wedding dress!

I just wanted to take the time to thank Hannah, the stylist who I worked with on Saturday. She was AMAZING. Her service and knowledge was 10/10! She was so supportive and intuitive on what I liked, didn’t like, wanted, and suggested. She was FAST and helpful in every way to make our hour truly magical. I couldn’t have asked for a better stylist to help me try on so many beautiful dresses. The dresses! Ugh so beautiful. She made our experience so delightful. Even the other stylists nearby were helpful and supportive too. Lovely Bride Philly was amazing. Thank you so much Hannah! I 100% will set up a second fitting with them!

Hannah was wonderful to work with. She listened to my daughters ideals for her bridal gown search. The shop has many beautiful gowns to suit every taste. Appointments are a must. Hannah pulled additional dresses as she learned my daughters style. I would recommend a trip to Lovely Bride for the bride to be.

I don’t have the words to describe just how fabulous Lovely Bride was to my daughter, they are patient, kind and very knowledgable. Nothing is too much trouble. My daughter found the dress of her dreams and it was a painless and wonderful experience! Now, my daughter was supposed to get married on 12/10/22 but, God had other plans, she’s expecting !!! We had to scramble and now her wedding is 5/28/22, she is very excited but, she was so disappointed she wouldn’t be able to wear her beautiful dress by Sarah Seven on her wedding day, it wasn’t expected until August. We called Lovely Bride and spoke to Ivy who was a tremendous help she called Sarah Seven and the dress was able to be expedited in two to three weeks, my daughter will have her dream dress for her wedding. Thank you for making my daughters dream come true. And thank you Sarah Seven for expediting the beautiful dress!

Had the best experience looking for my dream dress. It was my first ever shopping experience and I had no intention on picking something that day. Taylor was beyond amazing. She listened to what I wanted and brought in more options based on what I liked. I liked the private rooms. They had a lot of plus size options and even if they were not in my size I never once felt uncomfortable. All the staff were super sweet. I actually ended up finding my dream dress. And even then there was no pressure to buy right away but I ended up getting it anyway. Overall an amazing experience. I look forward to going back to pick up.

She listened perfectly to what I wanted and went above and beyond to accommodate me and what I was looking for! The shop itself it’s beautiful and the rest of the girls were so friendly and helpful. She made the process super easy and not stressful. She was very relatable and took her time adjusting and explaining each dress I tried on. I had the most fantastic experience at Lovely Bride with Hannah as my stylist. Hannah was so helpful and so nice, she showed me as many dresses as I wanted and I tried on some multiple times. I eventually returned to Lovely Bride for a second appointment because I couldn’t stop thinking about a couple dresses and Hannah was just as helpful and sweet. When I found my dress everyone was so supportive and made me feel so special. I am IN LOVE with my dress and I would recommend Lovely Bride to anyone.
