NEWHITE Prophecy (left): NEWHITE gowns just scream editorial to me. As someone who’s pretty tall, sometimes a strapless dress can make me feel a little too exposed up top, but these peak-like necklines that I’ve seen trending lately have me rethinking everything I know about strapless gowns.
Made With Love Cameron (right): Wearing a veil was one of my favorite accessories of my wedding look and if it wasn’t so inconvenient to wear a cathedral train around the dance floor, I would have kept it on all night! Now I see dresses like this and gravitate towards them because not only do I love a sleeve moment, but you get the ethereal feel of a veil all night.
Sarah Seven Rhea (left): Sarah Seven was all over my wedding dress Pinterest board when I got engaged. I think the only reason I didn’t end up choosing one was because I loved every single style I tried on — it would have been like choosing a favorite child. Impossible to go wrong. I am hooked on the combination of structure and simplicity that Sarah Seven does so well.
Alexandra Grecco Cleo (right): If I had seen Cleo early into my wedding dress search, I might have dismissed it as a tad too simple. Now that I’ve been through the styling process of my own wedding look, I see so much exciting potential for accessorizing. I love the idea of a clean, classic look that acts as a perfect canvas for switching up your look throughout the day.
Rue De Seine Emery (left): A pearl gown? Paired with these Rue De Seine Cash Sleeves? Say no more, I’m sold.
Georgia Young Lemon (right): I love Georgia Young’s spin on classic silhouettes — bringing an edgy, modern feel to something that feels so timelessly bridal.
Sarah Seven Agatha (left): I might convince Ryan to have a second wedding some day so I can wear a ballgown just to have that experience. This dress is a show stopper and you can already tell by now I love a fun sleeve moment so it’s an obvious pick!
Alexandra Grecco Viola (right): This dress feels like who I want to be when I grow up – if that makes any sense. The sophistication is off the charts, yet the sheer side panels and open back give it that spicy touch.
Made With Love Noah (left): I tried this gown on for fun during one of my many Lovely Bride visits after seeing it all over Instagram and it did not disappoint. The perfect amount of sparkle that’s not too overpowering – leaving room to continue to accessorize without feeling too busy.
Louvienne Roux (right): And last but not least, I would be remiss if I didn’t put Roux on here – my wedding gown! It felt like a combination of my favorite parts of other dresses that I had tried on. I had actually gone into Lovely Bride alone for a second appointment to purchase Ventura by Vagabond (which I still adore) and the stylist pulled out Roux which I hadn’t seen before! I changed my mind on the spot. Especially when I threw on the Zoe sleeves by Vagabond with it. The sleeves were everything to me so I had to find a dress that worked with those!
