DC Store Manager

About Lovely Bride:

About the Role:

The Store Manager is responsible for leading the overall success of the boutique, driving sales performance, developing a high-performing team, and delivering an exceptional client experience. As the leader of the store, you set the tone for team culture, client interactions, and brand standards. You are both a sales leader and a people leader, responsible for growing the business while ensuring every bride receives a personalized and joyful experience.

What You’ll Own:

Sales Leadership & Client Experience

  • Drive the store to meet and exceed monthly sales goals and key performance metrics
  • Lead by example on the sales floor, delivering exceptional bridal styling and service
  • Set, track, and coach against individual stylist sales goals and performance
  • Support appointments as needed, including high-touch or complex bridal situations
  • Serve as the point of contact for escalated client needs or concerns
  • Ensure every bride receives a thoughtful, personalized, and memorable experience
  • Collaborate with a close-knit team who genuinely love what they do

Team Leadership & Development

  • Recruit, hire, onboard, and train a high-performing team of bridal stylists
  • Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and performance management
  • Lead regular one-on-ones and formal performance reviews
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and accountable team culture
  • Create schedules that align staffing with business needs and appointment flow

Operations & Inventory Management

  • Oversee daily store operations, including opening/closing procedures
  • Ensure accurate use of systems, reporting, and client data management
  • Manage inventory processes including receiving, tracking, and quality control
  • Maintain an organized, clean, and visually compelling showroom
  • Partner with HQ on invoicing, reporting, and operational processes

Merchandising & Product Strategy

  • Maintain strong knowledge of designers, gowns, and bridal trends
  • Ensure visual merchandising reflects Lovely Bride brand standards
  • Provide feedback to the buying team on product performance and client preferences
  • Identify opportunities for assortment improvements, sample sales, or inventory optimization

Marketing & Community Engagement

  • Act as the local brand ambassador for Lovely Bride
  • Build relationships with local wedding vendors, venues, and community partners
  • Support and execute in-store events, trunk shows, and brand activations
  • Partner with marketing on local social media content and initiatives

What Success Looks Like:

  • Consistently achieving or exceeding store revenue goals
  • Strong stylist performance and team retention
  • High client satisfaction and positive reviews
  • A motivated, collaborative, and accountable team culture
  • A well-run, visually compelling, and organized boutique

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of retail management experience (bridal, fashion, or luxury retail preferred
  • Proven track record of driving sales and leading high-performing teams
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational and operational management abilities
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, client-focused environment
  • Passion for fashion, styling, and the bridal industry
  • Availability to work weekends and flexible retail hours

Additional Details:

  • Weekend availability is required – that’s when the magic happens
  • Occasional travel (up to 1–2 times per year) for market and company meetings

DC Full-Time Stylist

About the Role:

As a Bridal Stylist, you’ll guide brides through one of the most meaningful shopping experiences of their lives. This is a sales-driven, customer-focused role where you’ll combine styling expertise with genuine connection to help each bride find their perfect wedding dress. You’ll own your appointments from start to finish – welcoming clients, understanding their vision, styling gowns and accessories, and confidently closing each sale.

What You’ll Do:

  • Host one-on-one bridal appointments, creating a warm, personalized, and celebratory experience for every bride and their guests
  • Style wedding looks from our curated designer collection of gowns and accessories
  • Build genuine relationships with brides and their loved ones
  • Offer excellent customer service before, during, and after every bride’s appointment
  • Meet personal sales goals while keeping the experience feel-good and pressure-free
  • Keep the shop looking inviting, organized, and ready for every appointment
  • Collaborate with a close-knit team who genuinely love what they do

What We’re Looking For:

  • You have retail, bridal, or customer-facing experience (bridal is a plus, not a must!)
  • You have a genuine love for fashion, styling and helping people feel their most confident
  • Excellent communication skills and a natural ability to connect with people
  • You thrive in a fast-paced, appointment-based retail environment
